This is across the street from a neighborhood Walmart and is on the corner of a strip mall. There is plenty of parking. This location has a wide selection. Staff is nice. This place is practicing social distancing so you feel safe as you shop. They are closing an hour early on the weekend so check in with store hours before you head up there. read more

I was a constant customer at Baseline Liquor however when I went in today, my youngest was looking at the chips and I asked my oldest child if he would also like Cheetos as I typically allows buy them for my youngest when we go there. The cashier then started demanding my 16 yo give him his ID because , and the direct quote from the cashier was , "i need to see his ID since you asked him if he needed Cheetos". I have been in the store and purchased Cheetos for my youngest and have never had this level of rudeness or demands that she give anyone her ID for Cheetos. When I asked for clarification about why my child needed an ID for cheetos, the cashier then began saying "teetos". I told the cashier that I was referring to Cheetos the chips that my youngest was still staring at. The cashier then had the audacity to say "are you sure?", insinuating and accusing me of providing alcohol to my own underage children in front of a large group of other customers. This store not only lies but then also purposely attempts to slander you. I have never seen this level of disrespect from a business. Do not support this business. read more

Felt dishonest for the first time. I'm not a regular but went to pick up some 101 and IPA as I knew the selection here would be decent at least. As I came in for my peasantry items I overheard some chatter from the employees behind the counter and one "elder" of the employees had a box with bottles in hand while mentioning how they will save some for themselves and make sure people don't think we have that much. I only saw after seeing people in line with some Weller's or nothing or me, with 101 and IPA having no clue there was a rare whiskey allocation happening in my midst. I am fairly novice to the whiskey scene but even this novice felt like this visit was tainted. read more

I agree with what the other reviewers have been saying about this Liquor shop: great prices, great hours & availability, friendly & helpful staff, good location, convenient and great selection. It's all great across the board! Last weekend, I decided to stop by Mr. Bento (the Japanese place next door) for Take Away, but since I walked up to place my order I had some time to kill while I waited for my food to get ready- and I decided to check out the liquor store next door. I didn't go in with a pre-conceived list of things I wanted to purchase, but came out with 3 bottles of Whiskey. I was very impressed by the prices (even if regulated by OLCC, it seemed that there were bottles on special prices, so it seems cheaper to me!). But overall, I had a great first experience, and I'm glad to have a solid liquor store close to my house! read more

For a small store, Baseline Liquor has a very large selection of local spirits, with an entire row dedicated to our wonderful Oregon distilleries, like New Deal. They also have your typical spirit brands, a selection of wine, cold beer, mixers and a small section of cocktail tools. The staff were friendly and knowledgable - happy to share their recommendations. I've only been to a couple liquor stores in the Portland metro area, but this is by far the best I've seen. read more

I went into the store like I always do, my son in tow. Since I can't drive he takes me wherever I need to go. My wife loves flavored vodka, and I in the process of buying when my son pointed out these taster bottles. Remembering that my wife likes to try new things I went ahead and put them on the counter. At which point she requires my sons ID, and announces she can't sell me any liquor since my son is under 21. We didn't break any laws, i informed her (the cashier) of the laws as such and she still declined to sell me anything. Just because a child points things out doesn't mean they are asking to buy it. Needless to say I won't give them my services any time soon. read more

For a practicing alcoholic, this place has everything! Living in the Orenco Station area for more than 6 years, there was no liquor store within 7 miles from us, and then that location closed and moved out even further. I was happy to see their Grand Opening sign go up off of Cornelius Pass Rd. Less than 2 miles from me, and once they opened they didn't disappoint. They have a great selection of any type of alcohol, but my primary interest are whiskeys (bourbon being my favorite) and I've found some interesting options that I hadn't found elsewhere. Decent beer and wine selections (but I'll leave these for less important venues), and a great selection of mixers and home bar doodads to help shake things up (ha!). They have unbelievable hours and the staff there has always been courteous and helpful (a practice getting harder to find around here). Two thumbs way up! read more

Located across the street from Walmart in a small plaza with Mr. Bento restaurant. Parking can be a pain here since it's so cramped and limited. Came here a couple of times and the workers are always friendly! Probably one of the cleanest liquor stores I've seen and the workers are usually walking around the aisles asking if you need help. They have a good variety here and Ciroc is usually on sale. There are a ton of different vodkas here. The selection of Hennessy isn't as big as other liquor stores. However, I would say this liquor store prices are a bit cheaper than other places depending on the day and what you get. i came in to buy a simple bottle but instead i was greeted with rude customer service and when i went to purchase my item i was refused service for no reason but yet everyone else was able to buy their items. Was even refused to be heard out by who apparently seem to be the manager there I was given no reason as to why i was refused service and am apparently not allowed to go back there. They just asked me to leave before they called the police. It honestly hurts the fact i couldn't even purchase my item and kicked out for no reason as well as never allowed to go back there. This is a very nice, modern, clean store to get a wide variety of spirits, liqueurs and more. I'm somewhat new to Portland and I was starting to seriously stereotype the liquor stores here as rude, unwelcoming and "more". This place is the opposite. Friendly workers that seem to have a loyal following of customers and I can see why. Genuine smiles from the employees, thoughtful recommendations from the manager, good prices and sincere rapport at checkout. I'm done taking chances on other places, this will be my Go To spot even if it's out of the way. Happy to have found it. read more

So, what's with now charging customers 5 cents for a small paper bag for our liquor when they never have in the past. Seriously?? Nickel and dime us to death! Pretty crappy after spending $45 in product! Other liquor stores don't charge...it's not the cost, obviously it's only 5 cents, it's the principle. Baseline Liquor is a large store, and they carry a lot of variety of spirits as well as wine. I can find some of the top shelf whiskeys here I can't find other places. The location is convenient with ample parking. The checkout process could be streamlined. read more

The selection of liquor is good, the selection of mixers is decent, but the people working here are rude. I was waiting in line to check out when this woman with a bunch of plastic pina colada gallon mixers very obviously cuts me and the three people behind me. When it's my turn I walk around her quickly thinking, some customers are oblivious, but the cashier pointed and said, 'sorryyyy, she's next', with a condescending face a teenager would be jealous of. I point out where the line is and that she popped out between the stands to cut me off and he says, "yeah, it's just a whole thing...." and the woman LAUGHS AT ME. He checks her out with me standing right there, the whole time talking and laughing about me. I left feeling shitty that I tried to stand up for myself. Terrible service and also very rude in general to talk and laugh about a stranger when they are standing right there. read more
