In August Zac Adams and…read morehis father Russ Adams made a very convincing proposal and wrote up a contract to build and ADU, tear down a failing building and build and addition to my home. The contract was signed and a $50,000 deposit paid to the contractor at the end of August. For six months Russ made excuses and blamed Curry County Planning and a past Septic Contractor for the delay. Late February and e mail exchange with Curry County Planning and Zoning revealed that the ADU had been banned in early September before any work at all had been done. Zack Adams has the license but he lives in Mexico. I asked for an accounting and return of my deposit. My request was greeted with verbal abuse, lies, bullying and an attempt to coerce me into signing another ill advised agreement. Avoid Monolithic Design and Build and its parent company of Coastal Creations, LLC like the plague. In my opinion Zack Adams shouldn't have a license at all.

I had Monolithic Design & Build do several projects for me at my home in Bandon, Oregon.After the…read moreconstruction was finished I had a water leaking issue with a exterior new door that was installed on a upper story deck. I contacted Zack & told him that water was leaking at the bottom of the door & he needed to come take a look & make repairs. I had a credit with him & I had paid for all of the materials including the door. He said he would come take a look but that if a new door was needed that would be on me. I told him that shotty construction was the cause & he needed to get it fixed. He was very rude & basically told me he would not fix the problem. Now, a year later I have got a bigger problem and my hardwood floor inside the door is getting ruined. I would just like this leaking door fixed & I don't even know if the Adam's family is even around. Very disappointed & I paid them a lot of money. I hired Monolithic for numerous projects & there have been issues with everything they did. Don't get caught up in their lies or have them do anything unless you are prepared to be disappointed.
