Bartek Express is a Polish supermarket. They stock; Polish newspapers, magazines & books, cakes, breads and a large selection of Polish cooked meats and cheeses. The prices are inexpensive and they give you a free bag that most grocery stores charge £0.05 for. They also bag your groceries.
The things I buy specifically at Bartek are; XL eggs (these are the best) the size is equivalent to literally two eggs in 1, bread with cranberries, perogies, cauliflower (I get the largest size it is under £2.00), milk, high percentage Polish beer and Polish vodka. I really prefer to shop just at Bartek. I get fresh food for a low price. It beats the long lines at Lidl.
This is the place to shop at on a Sunday where most supermarkets close at 5pm, Bartek closes at 8pm. read more
