My name is Penny Watts, i am a disabled veteran, 49 years old., have had major neck surgery and…read morehave a titanium cage in my neck. I also have a pain pump in my lower back. I have been going to your offices for over three years and never had any problems. Currently I am going to the canton office simply because it is closer to where I live. During my very first appointment at this office I was sat down and informed by a Doctor that I needed an injection. I refused after about 30 minutes due to the fact that I have had them before with no results. Then I was lectured about my quality of life and how an injection would fix my problems, even though i felt I had no problems with my quality of life. Finally I was able to end the conversation by saying that I would at least consider having an injection. My next appointment was pretty much the same thing, if I had an injection my quality of life would be better..., I again refused and mentioned that I would go to physical therapy. But as I went to refill my prescription I noticed that it was lowered. Because I didn't notice until a week later I waited until my next appointment to ask about my drop in pain medicine. During that month I slept more than anything else and it became very hard for me to do the normal everyday things, like shower, due to the amount of pain. Thus my quality of life suffered. The next appointment I was again asked about having an injection, again I refused. My prescription was still not fixed. The last time I went to my appointment I was again asked about injections, After i agreed to have an injection the problem with my medication was finally addressed. I have been on the same medication for three years now. My quality of life has improved greatly, I walk everyday, I have lost weight that I needed to lose, I exercise as much as I can, and I feel good about myself. I also live with my elderly parents and take care of them to the best of my abilities. I cannot afford to have injections and I do not feel they will help me.I also do not feel that I should be almost pressured into having an injection when I do not believe that I need to have an injection to improve my already great quality of life. Plus my prescription should not be almost used against me when I do not agree with another about how to improve my own personnal quality of life. Thankyou for listening. Sinceraly, Penny Watts

If you are on Medicare they don't treat you fairly. If you're paying cash or on some other type of…read moreinsurance you are good. Medicare pt are seen like a herd of cattle & then made to wait on their prescriptions to be sent to the local pharmacy. You have to wait on the doctor,pA , NP to finish their work for the day before they send your script to a local pharmacy. I would get the medications in my hometown but per the PA ,well est places like walmart & etc dont take thier prescriptions. This forces you to get them locally. Most of the times if not everytime the scripts are sent to the pharmacy after they close at 6pm. Office closes at 5 & staff is nasty with you about enquiries as too why they are not able to complete your appt with your meds. I travel a great distance to get here. I schedule so that i can follow their rules & get back home safely. They dont care. Often ive had to wait til the next day even over the wknd because they dont care. Just because I'm on medicare i shouldnt be discriminated against or treated cruelly because I simply want to see the doctor, get my med & go home.
