This U-Haul seriously changed the way we viewed the company. Back in May (2019 so just two months…read moreago) Matthew and an older caucasian man helped us with a bit of a problem. We were on our way to Las Vegas when one of our two cars stopped working while driving and hauling the one-bedroom trailer from U-Haul. We ended up having to stay the night in Barstow at the Motel 6. It was a disaster. The car could only be driven for distances shorter than 5 minutes and that wasn't a lot of time. The next morning (the day AFTER we were actually supposed to move into our new place) we stopped at an auto parts store and then after no luck we decided to just go to a U-Haul to rent a truck and car mount. When I walked into this location and told the gentleman what I needed he immediately started away at the transaction. But after making conversation and telling him how we currently have a U-Haul trailer and our car broke down he took a minute to go above and beyond. He then was able to get us on the road safely with exactly what we wanted but for MUCH less than we were prepared to pay for. Even the two men's help through the entire process of transferring vehicles was beyond helpful. This left us knowing that U-Haul would be the only moving company we have confidence in for the rest of our lives. Thanks Matthew and friend!

All our stuff was stolen out of our unit. we asked on the last day paid if they would pro rate…read more every thing was out except a few items. they said no that we would have to pay for a full month for an empty unit. the lock they sold us they said was safe. i found out on youtube how easy it was to pick. their ad says "24 hour video surveillance". we were told we would have to get a court order to view the video recordings. i asked who owned the property. again they told me i would that i would have to get a court order to get that information. don't rent here unless you don't care about your stuff. check out the stuff about picking locks on youtube..
