With crust that was simply perfection and cheese that brings the whole thing home, trust me, my foodies, you just can't go wrong with this one.

But (try this technique) by walking between tables seeing what people were eating, the pizza looked solid. Nice balance of ingredients to crust, alluring. Little was I to know, what a fantastic pizza this would be. The best pizza of my life (well, next to Da Michele's double buffalo mozz in Naples). I don't know if I got lucky, and all the pizza stars aligned when they threw this one together (the table next to me had multiple pizzas come around the same time, but none looked this great), but this scamorza cheese (a lot like mozzarella, but lightly smoked), eggplant, black olive and sublime sausage pizza was one of the most superb creations I've ever eaten. It puts most every other "dish" I've ever had on the back burner, because with most dishes, each bite tastes the same as the last, but with this pizza, every bite was different than the last, and each phenomenally delicious - - just spurring you on until you've enhaled the whole thing, and were supremely glad you did. Went pizza shopping tonight, from place to place (walk through restaurants, and see what they are serving, and what people are eating - - a real education), and finally settled on a very popular place where the pizzas looked OK (if not maybe a bit overly wide) and it was decent - - but it made me pine for the pizza from le Delizie. I mean, at le Delizie the topography was lovely - - no square inch of the 'za was like any other - - each bite had a different concentration of ingredients and a different texture. And even the edges around the crust were to die for, with wonderful light stretch and crunch, and still succulently moist, with a ravenously delicious red sauce (look how it glistens near the crust in the picture I'll attach). This pizza was absolute, total, perfection. Every bite of this pizza was luscious. It cost 7 Euro (plus 2 Euro coperto); the 1/2 liter of sparkling wine from a spigot was cheap, zingy, and refreshing. And after the meal there is a complementary carafe of limoncello, and the service was adept. I mean, for chrissakes, every "Italian" place in the States is nowhere in the same ballpark as a place like this. I'll keep pounding the pavement looking for something in Rimini even close to this standard [wait, no, I'm going back tomorrow - - I've learned my lesson.] .

La Casina del Bosco serves delicious piadines which to North Americans is essentially a freshly made tortilla bread with different toppings. This particular spot is also popular for drinks and has a huge patio for outdoor dining.

I made the right choice of venue. What an absolutely gorgeous outdoor cafe with charming, efficient and totally on the ball staff and the fastest service I've had since arriving in Italy. I even had a few language lessons with the waitstaff who humoured me as I practiced my very beginner Italian on them. The first thing that caught my eye and consequently ordered was piadina alla porchetta. A spectacular choice. The piadina itself was light, slightly toasty, with a nice hint of olive oil but the main attraction was the pig. Delicious, sumptuous, well seasoned porchetta made this dish a massive hit for me. And for just €5 I was suitably impressed. I happily spent a solitary hour here soaking up the atmosphere, sipping on coffee and reflecting on my delicious meal. Thumbs up from me. Next time I'll be trying their gelato desserts too. They looked delicious!

If I was looking for a good place to eat this would be the right place. Family owned business. Super clean, table clothes, napkins, condiments, all was clean and sparkling with a good sense of style: white paper tablecloths with beautiful gray print and blue (not a cheap quality napkins). I ordered a branzino, my kids ordered a schnitzel and a pasta carbonara. Cannot tell you how much we were pleased with the quality of the food and its presentation. My kids were on cloud nine. I am surprised that this place only has two reviews, I would definitely expect it to have at least 10-15 and all 5-stars. Honestly. Considering that this is a touristic place and a huge tourist traffic it was far from being one of those places when you would t come back. Awesome family service, attentive, clean, and simply tasty! Very highly recommend, you would not be disappointed!!! For all that and two glasses of red wine and 4glasss fo sprite we paid €69. We are still here and I will go there again before I leave.
