Walked in and was ignored with 4 other ladies. The ignoring goes on for another 5 minutes. Until another man walked in, a cashier states that the system is down and they don't know when it will be back up. I have no problem with a system being down. But being blatantly ignored while you eat lunch infront of customers and talk about things on your Walmart wishlist is unacceptable. These ladies probably won't get fired or reprimanded since it's a government facility and they seem to love crooks or people that do nothing for the community. If you call to complain it's always a dead end with these places. You can say it's "winders finest" here. read more

The associates here are very friendly. Just make sure you have all the documents you need when you come in. They will let you know if you need any documents when you arrive, so if you don't have it, you will have to make another trip. This is not up to them, the county requires it so don't get upset with the person at the window. I took off one star for them never answering the phone when I call. They were short staffed liked most businesses now a days but they need to have some sort of way for people to ask questions before they come. read more

Quick and easy service! I came around 12:30 on a Monday and walked right up to a desk, no wait! I had to get my tag changed from another county since we moved. As long as your new address is on your license, that's all you need! Kind people. read more

This is the worst county tag office in Georgia!! The only county that does not send your renewed tags in the mail like the rest of the country does, and their most common excuse for their inability to do their jobs is " the computer system is down"! Since this is the most corrupt county in the state, I'm sure someone is getting a new truck every year thanks to all the money embezzled from the county tag offices. Be prepared for zero respect if you're a Veteran of ANY era of service. They could care less about your homestead files and other earned rights due to service to your country. read more

I been in two times after a recent move to the area. The service has been friendly and outstanding. Beat tag office I have ever been to. My wife had the same experience. Barrow tag office rocks! Way better than Jackson County where i was treated horribly by the supervisor there. She was horrible. read more

Worst experience I'm ever had as a customer. Cashier was not very helpful in looking up my vehicle information unless I provided here with the tag number. Didn't have the information with me since it was a secondary vehicle I wasn't driving at the time. Kind of puzzled by her not being able to look it up with my name and address the vehicle registered. Her attitude during the transaction was of someone who didn't have any customer service skill for her position. Responses I receive were as if I was bothering her by asking questions and trying to resolve an issue with my registration. As a customer I feel as if her priority should be serving the people with a smile while trying to be as helpful as possible. Not with the discussed face of why are you in here. If you hate helping other this isn't the job for you. I will never do business at this location ever again. As a military service member that's has served my country for over 15 years and counting. I to have to deal with people and do thing I don't want to do at time. But ever day I wake up leave my boot and serve my country with a smile. read more

First time getting a tag for my new car. There was a wait but they went through us fairly quickly. However don't expect smiles and kind personalities behind the glass. I would expect better customer service coming from winder. Oh well. Got in and out quick so can't complain. read more

I've called I don't know how many times. Does no one pick up the phones? It's discouraging for those who have questions but can't make it in, in person. Hopefully, at some point, I'll get someone to pick up. read more
