Additionally, I used to work as a consultant for a District Judge in Silicon Valley when IP issues arose. So while I'm not personally a legal mind at all, I can definitely say that I know how to tell when I've find one. Mr. Simmons definitely raises the standard for what a great attorney should be: he's personable yet actionable, and has had nothing but dead-on advice with business matters which arise from time to time that I would have had no way of foretelling. If you have a business, small, medium or large - or if you are considering having counsel here in Central Texas, I strongly [and I mean strongly] recommend Mr. Anderson Simmons. I'm not sure there'd ever be an equivalent you could find in the US with the legal acumen, personality, and willingness to work on hard-hitting issues while at the same time counseling on the best ways to approach small business matters simply and efficiently. The only word to describe this attorney is "WOW."

From day one, Amber, Megan, and their team stood beside me and took my case seriously. Because of the connections and support they had around them, I was also given an amazing team that included a bail bond professional and an investigator. From the very beginning, they gave me a safe space and made me feel like someone truly had my back. Amber and Megan never gave up on me and never let me down. They were always honest with me, even when it meant telling me hard truths about the justice system and how some things may not always seem fair but are still common. They listened to my side, my frustrations, and my voice, and they turned that into their passion when it came time to defend me in front of a jury. They weren't afraid to stand their ground in court. It didn't matter if it was the state, the judge, or the detective--they fought for me and made sure the law was applied the right way. They came prepared with books, case law, and everything they needed to prove they knew exactly what they were doing. This case lasted from August 2024 all the way through March 2026. As the defendant facing the possibility of life in prison, my future was on the line. But Amber, Megan, and their team fought for me every step of the way. In the end, the jury came back with a verdict of Not Guilty. I honestly don't know who was more nervous waiting for the verdict--Amber, Megan, or me. Looking at them while we were waiting made me feel supported in a way I can't really describe. It felt like family sitting beside me, believing in me and cheering me on. I can never thank Amber, Megan, and their whole team enough for everything they did for me. They fought for me when my life and future were on the line, and I will always be grateful for them. If you are a defendant looking for a criminal defense attorney, I can personally say they fought for me when my life was on the line in my criminal defense case.

I've never been one to easily trust anyone, so when a friend told me about Mr. Apt, I figured the worst that could happen was that he would confirm what the legal aid lawyer had told me. He did not. According to Mr. Apt we had a very good chance of winning the lawsuit, and as of yesterday, he was right!
