We were doing a day trip from Edmonton when we found this place in of all places Sedgewick Alberta. I was intrigued by the fact that it served Nigerian and Filipino cuisine. We thought we would give it a try. It is dated but clean inside and has a menu that contains mostly Filipino dishes with a couple of Nigerian ones. I picked the Jollof rice and my husband picked the eggs with Filipino beef. The food was attractively presented. The Jollof rice had a nice smoky flavour but I was a bit surprised that there was no meat of veggies in it...it was just rice. It could have used something to give a contrast in texture with. It came with vegetarian spring rolls which were hot and flavourful. My husband's food was delicious. The meat was nicely spices and I had a few bites of his garlic rice and it was delicious. Both dishes were very generous in portions and we were stuffed by time we finished it. They threw in a dessert for no charge and it was delicious. It seemed like a flan. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely would go try it again if we ever go through Sedgewick. read more
