After seeing this barre3 location at Aspen Place for the past few years during our summer visits to Flagstaff, I finally made it in for a class! Thanks to my friend Kelly L who suggested we meet up... we made it happen! We went to Gwyn's 4:30 class on a Friday. It was 45 minutes long and it went by really fast... I felt like I did get a full body workout in with strengthening, lengthening, cardio, and more... it was upbeat and everyone I met at the studio (staff and attendees) were super friendly. The studio was also very clean and how sweet that they welcomed me in for my first class with a personalized sign?! I would absolutely recommend this class for someone looking for some workout motivation in a fun, supportive environment... You can make many of the moves harder (or easier) by adding heavier weights or adding additional movement. I will probably go a bit heavier next time! It's worth sharing that your first class is free (thanks for that) and that you'll likely get some text messages from the studio once you do sign up, but they don't bombard you like other studios I've been to previously... I'm so grateful for this studio and discovering the welcoming and supportive community that is Barre3! I've been attending classes since this studio opened. Rebekah has done an incredible job of cultivating a culture here among the staff and members of caring, respect and encouragement, so that wherever you are on your fitness journey on a given day, you can be supported. For example, I had a persistent injury earlier this year that made some moves not accessible for me, and the instructors were great about checking in with me to make sure I was using a modification. When my injury finally healed, they even celebrated it! I travel a lot, and I genuinely miss the people here when I'm away. read more

Love this studio, love the owner, instructors are each amazing and unique but I've found I enjoy each in their own way and the kids area is amazing! I love that I can work minuscule muscle groups and feel energized, motivated and on fire, and than at the end cool down and feel a yoga zen. It truly is the perfect class for both. The owner really has thought of everything though. It's clean, and cleaned with clean products. The kids area is clean, tidy and only staffed by A+ employees. Seriously this place is amazing! Okay, so as a guy, I NEVER thought I would try Barre3, but we did and I have to say, it was AWESOME! I was completely out of my element and felt silly at first but the energy that comes from that studio and the instructor is something else. Rebekah, the owner, happend to be the one leading our class and she was super encouraging and made sure you felt good both physically and mentally about what we were doing. And, let me tell you, you might think this is some kind of frou-frou workout class but it definitely is NOT! It worked muscles I didn't even know I had and I was sore for a week after! Barre3 has changed my life. I know, it sounds so cliche, but it's absolutely true. I'm a former NCAA Water Polo Player, so I've seen my fair share of grueling workouts that leave you dead on the gym floor. After having 2 kids in 2 years my body begged me to be kind. I finish a Barre3 working feeling better than when I started. I'm more energized, balanced, and my mind is clear. Most of all - I can continue with my life as a mom to small children feeling stronger. If you've ever felt too intimidated to try a workout like Barre3 - don't be! The Flagstaff studio is filled with the most kind, welcoming and accepting people I've ever met. I often joke that the lobby feels like a clubhouse to the best team in town! The aesthetic of the space is open, bright and airy. It feels good to step inside and leave everything at the door. The instructors are next level. Each have their own personal style and vibe that they bring to class, but you'll always experience encouragement paired with personal challenge. Modifications are offered often, so Barre3 can work for any body. My two young boys are regular attendees in the play lounge - and they love it! The staff is always so warm and kind, and my boys spend the whole hour playing and creating while I get some much needed self-care just a room away. I would highly recommend Barre3 to any Mom of young children because the childcare is such a wonderful service offered. Barre3 is about becoming the best version of you. It's not about negative pain and gain. It's about growing and challenging yourself while building strength. I didn't know how much I needed Barre3 and the staff at the Flagstaff studio until I experienced it for myself. Am I stronger physically? Without a doubt, yes. Have I seen positive changes in my body and figure? Absolutely. But above all else, I've found the place where I can truly push myself to achieve more, and I'm always ready to return for the next challenge. read more

Barre3 Flagstaff is a great studio for those who are looking to build core strength without feeling like they have to compete with others or get into the "gym" culture. Their combination of yoga, barre and pilates really hits the spot and is challenging without being too much. The instructors are welcoming and encouraging and each have their own unique style. The only reason why I'm only giving 4 stars is that I wish they offered more class times in the afternoon and on the weekends! read more

Barre3 Flagstaff is the best studio in town. The staff is supportive, friendly and inclusive. The workout is challenging and tough but you can modify as you go and are encouraged by your teacher to listen to your body and stay true to your process. Its an amazing blend of a mind and body connection that will leave you feeling accomplished on a whole other level. Every class I complete I walk away feeling so bad ass and connected to myself. I've been going to Barre3 since March 2017 and it is absolutely awesome! When I first started I was definitely in need of some high energy and positive interactions in a workout. This studio certainly met and exceeded those expectations. The studio space itself is clean, modern, and inviting. There are lockers and little cubbies for shoes & stuff. If you need child care while you're taking a class they do have some options. The front desk ppl are always helpful and beyond courteous. There is also a cute little area to purchase any workout gear. The Barre3 classes themselves are fun & challenging! These classes certainly use body weights, as well as small weights to really work the upper body, lower body, and core. Definitely expect to get your sweat on. They do provide towels, free weights, and yoga mats for you to use. So far I've taken classes with Rebekah, Anna, Kara, Larissa, Katie, Jackie, and Monique. The instructors are well trained and provide a variety of exercises (and modifications) for the varying levels of physical fitness. Each instructor brings their own personality not just into their own routines, but also into their musical interests that accompany their workouts. I really enjoy Katie's classes because she incorporates a little more hip hop into her music & it's super awesome. Rebekah is the owner, she's super awesome & so helpful during the classes. Jackie and Larissa's classes are BEAST MODE, be prepared to sweat and be sore. Anna and Kara's classes are super fun & the music fits well, their exercises flow well together. Monique uses a lot of electronica style music, so it sometimes feels as if the beats are all the same & the songs go on forever, so if you like really high reps and electronica her classes are certainly for you. All in all this is a pretty great studio & I definitely recommend it. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this little gem of flagstaff. From the moment I walked through the doors everyone greeted me as if I was already part of their family. Rebekah the owner is quite an angel and always leaves me feeling filled with love (and sweaty) every time I see her. Every instructor is caring, nice, and really pushes you to do your best, without shaming you if you gotta take a break. I never thought I'd love a workout so much, but Barre3 changed my life in so many ways and I'll forever be grateful! read more

Barre3 Flagstaff is amazing! I love exercise classes, but Barre3 really does an awesome job of integrating strength, balance, cardio, and stretching into one cohesive 60 minute session, set to more upbeat (but not distracting!) music. They even work in a short meditation/rest at the end of class and I always leave energized and happy. Most of all, I am so grateful for the community feel of the studio- all of the instructors and employees are so incredibly kind, easy-going, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. Whether you're new to work out classes or not, this environment is completely inclusive: they never make me feel like I need to be perfectly in shape to participate- there are always modification options and I don't feel bad if I don't always do the most intense variation of an exercise! Rebekah (the owner) and the front desk employees are also exceptional at their customer service abilities and I have been so appreciative of their willingness to work with me when I've failed to be communicative in terms of payments and making different class times (whoops!) I was never a fan of exercise classes until trying out Barre3. All of the instructors are excellent and supportive. I definitely get a full body workout at every class. I enjoy that each class is different. I highly recommend Barre3 Flagstaff! read more
