I appreciate that the instructors challenge you but also give you space to take a break if needed. As a complete newbie to the world of Pilates, it's easy to follow their directions. Currently, I'm recovering from a knee injury and I really appreciate that the coaches offer modifications to make sure I don't hurt myself again :) Lastly, it's great to be in a respectful space with people of all ages and shapes. There is no toxicity in the air, just a shared goal to improve our well-being. Great studio.

The space is really gorgeous, a high ceiling-ed renovated barn in the Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts, which has all these awesome giant posters of past shows. Renee, the instructor, was very nice and helpful. I think it was a holiday and there was only one other person in the class, which made it really intimate and wonderful. The heater was a bit noisy, and I remember the music being awkwardly loud for some reason. The class itself was a bit slow and not challenging enough for my liking, but still very relaxing. My mom and sister, who don't do yoga as much, really enjoyed it and found it challenging enough. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area and find Yogasphere too crowded! Prices were reasonable from what I remember. From their website, it looks like they have class outdoors by the lily pond in the summer, will definitely have to check that out next time I'm home and it's nice out!

Both times I have asked no one has been available to provide it. - During the summer they switch to summer hours. Summer hours means that the Y closes earlier. They still charge the exact same amount. They just provide fewer services. Because it's summer! - Today my kids couldn't swim in the *indoor* pool. Why? Because there was thunder. There is not a single documented lightning death in an indoor pool. Not one. It's never happened. But they close their pool for some reason. Everyone here acts like they're a volunteer at a free community center or something. But it's not free. We pay quite a bit of money for this mediocre place.

The owner, Tash, greeted me as a new student, gave me a tour of the studio, and instantly made the space feel warm and comfortable instead of intimidating. I signed up for an all-levels class with zero knowledge of pole and was met with so much kindness from the other students. I never once felt judged for how I looked, what I could or couldn't do, or for messing up (which I did plenty of times!). Instead, everyone was encouraging, supportive, and genuinely happy to see each other succeed. The community here is unreal!! There's so much camaraderie, hype, and care, and it makes such a difference walking into a space where people actually root for you. Since starting classes here, it's honestly been life-changing for me - physically, mentally, and emotionally. This studio offers way more than just pole, too. They have aerial classes like silks, lyra, and trapeze, and the flexibility classes are incredible. The full-body workouts are challenging in the best way--they push you without making you feel defeated and help you condition yourself to gain strength for pole. Every instructor brings something different to the table, and you can really tell how skilled and passionate they are about what they teach. I also love the chair dance classes, handstand classes, and Twerkshop is hands-down my FAVORITE! Also the pole flow classes and the foundations of movement classes are very fun! Every class makes me feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to my body. Fitness, fun, tanning (even though I'm not a artificial tanner) The studio is very cute. I love the pink. It's open and the poles are a good height for climbing. I felt so out of shape because I hadn't been poling for 2-3 months (sad how quick some skills can go away) But I had basically a one-on-one session so I went at a good pace for me. I've been to different studios that have varying degrees of fitness integration but this one definitely puts fitness first. You will leave feeling like you got a good workout! Also, PA Pole Academy has the cutest shirts of any studio I've been to. Whenever I'm back in the area I'd totally come back for a drop in. Good job PA Pole Academy!

There's a class for you here, no matter where you are in your practice. This is safe space for people of all shapes, sizes, ages and walks of life. It's a very welcoming environment. I've met two instructors so far and both were kind and warm, and cared for their craft. There's a drop in rate of $17-$20 per session. You may want to try a $25/2 week unlimited class pass if you're new to the studio and want to see where exactly you groove. The entire studio is quite lovely. There's a nice changing/open locker room and great items for sale. From hand-painted mats, awesome jewelry, to water bottles, and my favorite, the clothes! Awesome patterned yoga pants for children and adults, and a brand of yoga clothes I love and have never seen sold in person but they have it here. The company is known for their fun yogi inspired sayings on cute shirts! Prices were fair. The actual studio is absolutely stunning! The nicest I've ever been in!! Personally I'm usually more of a darker lit studio space kind of gal, but the bright daylight shining through the curtains with exposed brick walls and an unbelievable vintage ceiling was honestly perfection first thing in the morning. So clean and refreshing. Gorgeous! Heavenly! This space changed my views on how I thought I preferred doing yoga. They are also currently expanding next door! There's a few parking spaces reserved behind the studio but they fill up early. There's quarter meter spaces so bring change or park in the municipal lot which takes cards. I would absolutely recommend trying a class here! It's a very relaxed, no pressure atmosphere.
