I've taken my car here twice for routine service, simply because it's convenient to my office. But…read morethat convenience is moot, as both times, my vehicle wasn't ready during a reasonable window of time. On the first visit, they never called to tell me it was ready. On the most recent visit, I had made an appointment online for 10:30am. Dropped the car off early. Four hours go by, no call back. I called them, and was told that my vehicle hadn't even made it into the garage yet. I told them to just cancel the appointment, and I would pick it up shortly. They came back and said it would be done in 30 minutes I agreed, and arrived at the shop about 35 minutes later. I had to wait about another 15 for the work to be finished. What's the point of making an appointment? What would have happened if I hadn't called four hours after the appointment time? Nice enough folks doing decent work, but don't have their shit together.

ONE tire, I told them this when I got there and when I received a call an hour later I was informed that all four tires either had pads on backwards bad rotors or bad calibers and it would cost $1600 to fix after telling them I didn't have that much they inform me of a cheaper option of only $1100 and I wouldn't get a receipt from the shop cause one of them would work on it on the side. After telling them I wanted to come pick my car up they half ass threw my brakes back together and I lost one of the pads ten minutes after leaving while on the highway. I would rather trust a five year old to diagnose an issue with my car then ever let any of these "mechanics" near my vehicle. PLEASE DONT TRUST THIS SHOP

We had an appointment to get our front wheel bearing hub assembly done this morning at 8:am. When…read morewe got there my husband went in and told them we were here and then came back out and sat in the car. The secretary comes out and tells us we will have to stand outside in 20° weather or take our dogs for a walk. Our dogs are registered emotional support animals. There are no signs on the door saying that they don't allow animals there. The secretary however has her dog there. This dog is apparently not good with other dogs so instead of her closing the door behind the counter, putting her in the office, having a kennel there or simply putting her dog on a leash so that we could sit in the designated area while waiting for our car to be done. Yesterday I had tried to call at 8:00 a.m. to see if they were able to get us in any sooner no answer so I called back at around 8:05 it rang twice and she hit the ignore button so I waited until 8:15 and called again no answer my husband finally calls at around 8:45 and she says that she just gave the last appointment to somebody who called. Someone she clearly answered the phone for. This business seems to discriminate against other people's animals.

I used to be a regular customer of 2 years at my local Jiffy Lube until their lack of attention to…read moredetail ruined my car. I came in one day for my usual oil change, the appointment went along with no issues. This is the only reason they get 1 star, I've never had any problem with the staff there, they have always treated me well. Not long after my oil change, my motor dies. Turns out, all the oil had leaked out due to a loose oil filter and left my car running on fumes. I had no idea it was happening until the engine light turned on and it was already too late. Ended up costing more than the car was worth to repair and Jiffy Lube refused to help cover costs. They fed me lies and false claims and did a half-assed "inspection" of the dead vehicle, claimed it looked like it had been tampered with. Which I found interesting considering they were the last people to even be under the hood of my car. Long story short, they denied any help or any blame, and now I'm stuck having to find a new vehicle because of their poor service. I used to recommend this place to anyone, but now I will never be going back again and telling anybody else NOT to utilize their services.

The local auto supply stores all recommended Aamco on Oakland Avenue, Indiana PA so I gave it a try. I was 100% pleased. They are very helpful, extremely friendly and explain everything so you can understand it. In one instance they even went the extra mile to figure out a car "mystery", we've all had those. Their prices are also very reasonable. All in all, Aamco is absolutely the place to go in Indiana County for car repairs!
