We realized half way through that things were going in the wrong direction. We had to stop and find someone new. My wife saw some of Dwells work in our neighborhood and was impressed. She met with the home owner and he happily recommended Dwell. So, we met with Geo and work started soon after. We had to sandblast the exterior to remove the stucco work that was incorrectly applied and apply new smooth stucco. They also installed a new roof, wrought iron railing, central air, and built a new awning with Spanish tile. Everything came out great! We enjoyed working with Geo. Easy to talk to and responsive. Guided us through the process and helped with the aesthetic choices making my wife's vision for our home come true. Pricing was straight forward. What he quoted is what we paid. Geo and his team were great to work with. Everyone was professional and friendly. They were responsive in answering questions and keeping us updated on scheduling. I genuinely cannot understand how a company charging these kinds of outrageous prices manages to deliver such an appalling level of service, disappointing furniture, and complete disregard for its customers. First and foremost, **their crew damaged my home.** Imagine paying a premium for what is supposedly a high-end staging company, only to be left dealing with damage to your own property. Absolutely unacceptable. The furniture itself was also incredibly disappointing, especially considering the astronomical prices they charge. There is nothing particularly impressive about what you're getting, and the overall experience certainly doesn't justify the expense. Then there's Miriam. I cannot adequately express how unpleasant my interactions with her have been. In my experience, she has been **extremely condescending, dismissive, and downright disrespectful.** The attitude is astonishing, particularly coming from someone whose job involves dealing with paying customers. A little professionalism and basic courtesy would go a long way. You're providing a service, not doing your customers a favor. Lose the condescension. To make matters worse, they wanted to charge me an additional **$1,500 simply for arranging a furniture loadout with fewer than 10 days' notice**, despite my previous attempts to contact them. The entire experience felt like one outrageous charge after another. I've also noticed something interesting while reading their negative reviews. Meridith Baer herself appears to respond to some complaints by claiming she cannot locate the reviewer in the company's customer records. **So, Meridith, I've attached a photograph of your company's truck sitting in my driveway during the furniture loadout.** That should eliminate any confusion about whether I was actually a customer. I'm more than happy to provide additional documentation of my experience. In fact, **anyone considering hiring this company is welcome to message me directly.** I'll gladly share what I was charged, photographs of the damage to my property, and additional details about my experience so you can make an informed decision before spending your money.
