They do have some impressive top shelf bourbons such as pappy and weller 12 but they are selling at way above secondary market pricing. To each there own but despite being hard to find you can still get much cheaper. Overall a solid liquor store that was well stocked, well organized and the worker seemed pretty friendly. I'm not in the area too often but if I was I could see myself stopping for an everyday obtainable bottle price depending.

It's the 3rd liquor store owned by the same person who also owns the two gas stations next door. He is very friendly and accommodating. They have the best craft beer selection in Bullitt County without question. If you're into the regular bud lite or any other lite beer, they've got a beer cave full of it. Several rows or bourbon, wine and every spirit there is. If there is any type of alcohol that they don't carry then they will make every effort to get it for you. One of the biggest negatives I can say about 44 Wine and Spirits is their prices. I guess having the best mean you get to charge more, way more in some instances. I'm a craft beer guy so I often ask them to try and get some more hard to find beers. I've requested a bourbon barrel aged stout that had limited distribution throughout the state. Most stores in the Louisville area sold the bottle for 23.99. When he finally got some in stock, it was 34.99!! At that price hike I couldn't bring myself to purchase it. With the regular craft beer they keep in stock, expect to pay a little more. With this store being conveniently located, you're paying a little for that convenience. I would recommend that you stop in and check out their selection regardless of what you drink. Even if you are paying more, it would cost more than what it does to drive into Louisville to purchase your brew.
