I stopped in here the other day for a few drinks and other items and the store is kind of a one stop shop. Have snacks that has nonalcoholic drinks just got alcohol drinks it's got gas gas station yeah there's all kinds of stuff and it's an old school barnyard type thing so right up my alley I really enjoyed it read more

I stop at Barnyard Liquor every morning during the week before going to work at UPS and I've got to tell you, I absolutely love it there. The employees are respectful, kind, and caring. I would recommend this store to any and everyone. It's got that hometown vibe that goes a long way in my books. So with that said make sure you stop by you won't regret it. read more

My husband and I stopped in, again, killing time before our distillery tour. Maybe I am use to Chicago alcohol prices. I bought a 750mL of Hornitos in Chicago for $19.99, that same bottle was $32.99. No thanks. This store seems a little over priced, to me, but maybe that was a good deal. Needless to say, we did not buy anything. read more

Decent selection of alcohol, their "rare" bottles are way too highly priced, but you can haggle if you want. I'd recommend giving it a shot, but nice family runs the store. read more

15 pack of beer cost 28$ for fuck sake they are marking things up way to much! I will not be back assholes. I can get a 20 pack for 21$ . I know what ppl will say "well why didn't you go somewhere else and get it...well because of traffic and I was right there and handed my card to the guy before realizing it. Never again will I be back and I will warn everyone I know not to go there as well read more

They do have some impressive top shelf bourbons such as pappy and weller 12 but they are selling at way above secondary market pricing. To each there own but despite being hard to find you can still get much cheaper. Overall a solid liquor store that was well stocked, well organized and the worker seemed pretty friendly. It's the 3rd liquor store owned by the same person who also owns the two gas stations next door. He is very friendly and accommodating. They have the best craft beer selection in Bullitt County without question. If you're into the regular bud lite or any other lite beer, they've got a beer cave full of it. Several rows or bourbon, wine and every spirit there is. If there is any type of alcohol that they don't carry then they will make every effort to get it for you. One of the biggest negatives I can say about 44 Wine and Spirits is their prices. I guess having the best mean you get to charge more, way more in some instances. I'm a craft beer guy so I often ask them to try and get some more hard to find beers. I've requested a bourbon barrel aged stout that had limited distribution throughout the state. Most stores in the Louisville area sold the bottle for 23.99. When he finally got some in stock, it was 34.99!! At that price hike I couldn't bring myself to purchase it. With the regular craft beer they keep in stock, expect to pay a little more. With this store being conveniently located, you're paying a little for that convenience. I would recommend that you stop in and check out their selection regardless of what you drink. Even if you are paying more, it would cost more than what it does to drive into Louisville to purchase your brew.
