Excellent place! I was excited to find their wine that I use in punch was available at this location. I don't have to go over the river and through the woods to Oliver Winery to get this, I can just go about a mile from my home. This is marvelous. Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus. No, B Rad, they don't sell mud. They do have a great selection of wines for where we're at. This isn't total wine, this isn't a big box store. Some dude and his family run this place and I've only ever seen the family running it (it is right by my gym) so previous problems that people have had with employees have cleared up because now it is straight up mom and pop. I can get behind a mom and pop all day and the part of the night I'm not sprawled on Karen's basement floor wondering why Anderson Cooper doesn't call me back. Why does this place get four stars instead of three? They had a huge selection (compared to the size of the store) of local wines and beer. I think that's wonderful. I haven't fallen in love with any of the local beers or near local beers BUT I know my friends have and now I know where to get some before going to their homes. I also know that supporting local businesses is good for everyone. If you want Bud Light you need to reexamine your life choices and also: go to Walmart. If it is Garbage de Blanc you're looking for they have it AND in the vintage you prefer. If you're a grown up and looking to drown your sorrows in quality then this is your jam. I would recommend this to any of my friends but they're all average to above average to amazing people and none of them live in BC. They live in the Highlands where men with handlebar mustaches come right to your door on those old-timey bicycles with the outsized front wheel with the booze you ordered by carrier pigeon and only accept tips no one has ever heard of. Also, they have a drive through to make your DUI that much easier, Bullitt County. WOO WHO!

They do have some impressive top shelf bourbons such as pappy and weller 12 but they are selling at way above secondary market pricing. To each there own but despite being hard to find you can still get much cheaper. Overall a solid liquor store that was well stocked, well organized and the worker seemed pretty friendly. I'm not in the area too often but if I was I could see myself stopping for an everyday obtainable bottle price depending.

For many many years this location was called cheers and was a staple of the community. About a decade or so ago cox took over but maintained the good pricing and local charm of the original. I've ventured here over the years quite a bit as I was born and raised in okolona and my folks and in laws still live nearby. As mentioned they usually are pretty cheap compared to other liquor stores. I'd say they are generally about $5 cheaper a fifth on your middle to lower high end bourbons such as crown Royal, bullitt and eagle rare. Recently on Christmas Eve I actually snagged a bottle of eagle rate for $37. So not bad at all. Very large selection and store. They also have a pretty nice cigar area for people who partake in that activity. I don't know much about cigars or cigar smoking so I can't speak on the quality. But compared to other liquor stores it does seem like Thai place has a larger selection. Overall, This is a well located liquor store with good pricing. Which there a reason a location like this can survive in a location for as long as it has. Good spot to stop and get some drinks if in the okolona area.
