The selection is pretty good for a convenience store, the bathrooms are unisex, single-stall, and clean (my wife says "best bathrooms I've ever seen in a place") and the guy working the counter was completely polite to me, a trans lesbian. Normally, if a place is just OK (has what you want, polite staff) I'd give it three stars, but with the single-stall, clean bathrooms I call this place a solid 4!

While I was sitting in my car making a call he walked to dumpster completely ignoring us. Went and got in his truck and left. 11 pm still sitting waiting and town is dead. Nothing open. If this gentleman had 1 ounce of compassion or human decency he would have checked to make sure everything was OK before leaving. Rude and unprofessional. Wont go in there again after that!

Most of my reviews will concentrate on these two areas when rating a convenience store. Unless the service is spectacular/absolutely horrible or if the store is grossly dirty I'll rate them average. This store is below average. The coffee machines are kind of cool as they grind the beans in front of you but I'm pretty sure the beans are old as the coffee isn't great. I can live with poor coffee because caffeine is caffeine. However a dirty bathroom is unforgivable. At 6 am the floor was dirty. Hadn't been swept or mopped recently. You could see using spots and greasy footprint's in the grime. Toilet paper littered the floor and the sink was dirty. The sign in the bathroom proclaims really clean bathrooms but that apparently isn't true. The checklist on the door indicating an employee has checked and made sure it was clean was incomplete and dated for the day before. The man at the deli counter created a custom sandwich based on our request, and seemed happy to do so. He was patient and accommodating. The Tuscan bean soup, Caesar salad, and macadamia cookie that I had was delicious! Our son chose a cheeseburger from the prepared foods, and said that it tasted very good. We were also able to pick up sodas, crackers, and a variety of snacks. 5 stars!
