I came here a while back to kill time before meeting my girlfriend. I never been here before but I've heard good things. I honestly don't have too much to say about this place. It is a standard diner standard menu. The food was good, not terrible not amazing. About in the middle between Denny's and the local diner that the whole world knows it is the bomb.com. Wait staff was nice. Took about average to get my food. Not a new building, but not falling down. Easy to get to. Decent prices. I wouldn't say it's my favorite place. First visit, carryout. Parking lot very beat up and unkempt. Standing at the register waiting I could see the inside looked kind of beat up too. Some weed control and minor repairs to furniture go a long way in a welcoming feeling. Carried out pizza burger and grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Both were just ok. Great service.. One of the nicest waitresses ever. Food was solid country diner style. And lots of it. I didn't care for the biscuits and gravy - the gravy had no taste whatsoever. Pancakes were good and the bacon was great. They serve a gigantic breakfast burrito as well. Cheap filling eats to be had here! read more

Crappy winter day, pulled off for some "family restaurant" food, it's great to stop at a joint that cares about good food, sounded proud of their soup, had it... I ordered the full order of biscuits and gravy which hash browns and a side of sausage links. There was no pepper or salt in the gravy and very little sausage it was very bland. The waitress was average and did her best to provide hospitable service. That cashier was friendly as well . I am from out of state and was looking for a really good meal and seasoning would of made that food good if not great. read more

Service was good, prices reasonable, but my food was disappointing. I had the hot beef sandwich. Roast beef was OK but they used a spice I didn't care for. They had real mashed potatoes but they were very watery and the gravy was tasteless. My wife had the broiled catfish filet, which she said was good. read more

Horrible service! I ordered the steak and eggs, my eggs weren't cooked all the way and my hash browns were soggy. I ordered my steak medium rare, They brought me a well done steak. And even my toast was cold. My son ordered biscuits and gravy and I probably could of broken a window with them. The waitress never came back so we could let them know our food wasn't right, didn't even come back to refill our drinks. Then after sitting there for 20 min and the waitress never returning, I talked to the women in charge and she was rude and hateful and talked to me like I was stupid. Had always enjoyed going here. One day went with my daughter and her boyfriend. My daughter's meal came with a salad and her boyfriend ordered a side salad. Never had problems in the past but the salad was brown and slimy. When we said something to the waitress her response was "Yeah, I know, the manager won't let us open a new bag until all the lettuce is gone" So we sent the salad back. When leaving I told the manager of our experience. He said, "The lettuce is good, I just opened the bag" which of course we knew was a lie. So he continued to argue with me. I said look, the lettuce was bad, we didn't eat it and I am not paying for it. He continued to call me a liar. I told him we will never be back. I understand that you can not always help if the lettuce is wimpy or something but this was clearly within their control and to then call the customer a liar (especially when we frequented it) is bad business. We will never be back, not just because of the food but also because of the managers decisions and behavior. read more
