I've got to be honest, i made every mistake humanly possible when I showed up for an exam and was completely ill prepared. All my fault and they remained as friendly and cordial as one could hope. The exam was professional and I didn't have to wait at all. I can highly recommend. Their good will has earned them this high rating.

My last prescription was filled at Costco and that's where my next one will be. Two pair of progressive glasses (one was sunglasses) with total out of pocket less than $200. Vista wanted $489 out of pocket for one pair. WTH? Plus my Costco frames were Jill Stewart and are still as good as new so I only bought replacement lenses for my main pair.

What makes this experience even more frustrating is the lack of communication. No one called us with an update or explained that there was a delay. We had to call them ourselves after waiting a month, only to find out the glasses still weren't ready. These aren't just ordinary glasses for my wife. She needs the prism lenses, and while we've been waiting she has been dealing with severe headaches. That's why getting these glasses was important to us in the first place. Delays can happen--I understand that. What I don't understand is promising roughly two weeks, letting more than a month pass, and not contacting the customer with an update. When someone's health and quality of life depend on getting the correct prescription glasses, communication and follow-through matter. Based on our experience, I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend this place! Horrible!

You better have a thick wallet because it's not just the prescription that could cost you. At check-in, one of the forms to sign (if you want it) refers to refraction. I know the definition and have never heard it used to refer to an eyeglass prescription. I was told there would be a cost of $50* to get a copy of my prescription, and it's not covered by insurance. * in addition to the office visit charge The other issue was regarding co-payment and, once again, the receptionist and the office manager insisted that I HAD to pay the co-pay. I have dual insurance coverage, which means the secondary insurance picks up the remaining balance not paid by the primary insurance. This has been the case for me for the past seven years. Both women insisted this was incorrect. I paid! Now, two weeks following this encounter, I was not surprised that the co-pay was refunded back to my account ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knew, hmm, guess I did! The receptionists needs to be replaced. She's terrible with people, and because of her, I will not be returning here. Thank you to Dr Rosen

My first meeting with them was very educational and they took a lot more time explaining my options with me than the other two doctors I had consulted with. They were very friendly and did not try to "sell" me on any kind of procedure. After choosing to go with them I scheduled my surgery and they did the rest! The process was very smooth and they assured me every step of the way. It has now been almost a year since I had the procedure completed and my vision is better than 20/20! I cannot believe I waited so long to get the Lasik Eye Surgery completed. Laser eye surgery was something that I had always wanted to do but was too nervous to let anybody mess with them. I went there for cataract surgery. My choice of Dr Carlos Diaz was without referral and à wonderful expérience. He is professional, caring , very meticulous and listened to all my concerns. So respectful yet diligent about his pré op requirements for my particular case. Hes very highly credentialed. Chose the best surgery for my eyes. The surgery center was very professional , caring and attentive to my needs right before surgery. Dr Diaz is so excellent that after each surgery I immediately had a clear correction of vision without any bruising redness or selling. Just leaving surgery that is. And so far my expérience with the optometrist Dr Olsen has also been wonderful. I had an optometrist in Fl for 30 years so the switch has not been easy. But I think he is also kind and caring and very professional. I will continue with him from now on if I can. So for anyone who wants an amazing cataract expérience, choose Dulaney Perkins and Dr Carlos Diaz for the best possible results. I relied on glasses then contacts for 55 years and now I have clear vision without any aid. A miracle. Thank you Dr Diaz.
