I will start by writing that I have no idea about any White Star Electric electricians but if you…read moreare looking for customer service, take note that the person (James) who assesses the electrical jobs in question and gives estimate is bar none, the least kind, professional, customer service oriented person I have ever had the (mis)fortune of dealing with in Grand Junction in the 20 years I have owned my home. The woman who answers the phone at this business isn't anyone who cares about customer service either: both were rude and cold and impacted me in a very unpleasant way. On the other hand, I had the absolute best experience start to finish with Dave Fisher Electric (see Google/Yelp review on Dave's site) and can speak both to their customer service and electrical work and highly recommend them: professional, meticulous, patient, kind and lovely people. I couldn't be happier that they did the work and, in retrospect, am glad James showed such apathy and a lazy lack of care and concern so that White Star was not the company who did the job: sometimes a very bad experience ends up being the best thing to happen.

Dave Fisher is a stellar human being and an absolutely top notch business owner who has been in…read morebusiness for a very long time in this valley: he hasn't lost one ounce of enthusiasm for his profession or for providing excellent service and customer service to his customers. It isn't always the norm to find that someone truly cares about the well being of the customers being served. Dave is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, thoughtful and personable. The jobs that easygoing, calm, very capable and competent electrician Garrett took care of for me required two full dedicated electrical days as well as two extra quick visits coordinating with a plumber and an HVAC pro. Between Dave and Garrett, I felt like they went well above and beyond to dial in my 101 year old house. I am beyond grateful for all the meticulous work and the way they handled a very curious, communicative (overly so!) hands on homeowner: I learned a lot from them and will not forget how they made the herculean task of upgrading all the exterior knob and tube wiring seem so much simpler and easy than it really is. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation will remain a constant every time I look at all the results. Referrals to anyone and everyone I know who needs electrical work is a no brainer: not one of the five star reviews I see on Google reviews is a surprise. If I could, I would give them ten stars. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Without warranted cause the owner threatened me stating he would get law enforcement involved without allowing me to rectify the issue. I told the owner that I gave them the check four months ago and have been looking for the charge since then. But the owner states he tried to cash it a month after I sent it and is just now realizing the issue. Even after I told him I could pay him now without issue he doubled down and insulted me. I was very happy with the work his employee did, and his employee even made it known that they were short on work so he appreciated the call. Now I will never use his business again because of his terrible customer service. He was not professional in any way and was very rude. Do not use this company if you want respectable people to help you. The information posted below by the owner is a lie because I had the work done in early December per my receipt. It's unbecoming of an owner to try to make his customer look bad for his own benefit.

I finally reached my cold tolerance and called for service; I called Wellman based off of other reviews I read online. I received prompt service, within an hour of calling, Pedro was at my house. He quickly found the problem, the valve that circulates the water from my baseboard heating was turned off. He also checked the thermostat to make sure it was wired correctly, and made sure my pump was running correctly (he did say if I neglected this for much longer, I could have burned out my pump). He was very thorough, and my heat started working immediately. I appreciate that he took the time to make sure I wouldn't have any other issues, and it was a very reasonably priced service call. Had I known it would be an easy and inexpensive fix I would have called months ago. Thank you so much!
