(I lost his name shortly afterwards, unfortunately, or I wouldn't have needed to call this service again.) Since then, the referrals have been made to "shyster" types who seem reluctant to offer any real legal advice during the inexpensive half-hour introductory session and are simply interested in selling their services. Still, my first experience was so positive that it makes up for the lack of professionalism I've experienced here since then.

Louis seemed like a great match and asked me to email him and he would send me the necessary forms to fill out. I emailed him that same day. After a week or so of not receiving anything back, I called and left a voicemail. Nothing. Another week or two and a receptionist answered and said Louis would call me back later that day. Nothing. Complete silence from Mr. Boltik. This office lacks any sense of professionalism and courtesy toward a prospective client who treated him with the utmost respect and had plans for future real estate business with him. No longer. I would NEVER use Louis Boltik under any circumstances. If he was free, I wouldn't use him. In the meantime, I found another attorney much closer to home and very professional.

Louis is incredible!…read more He generously spent a great deal of time during our initial intake call to fully understand a complex and emotional situation -- my mother had passed suddenly, and the only will I could find was a 33-year-old copy. To make matters more confusing, I couldn't locate the named executor. After an in-person meeting to review next steps and sign a retainer, I later ended up finding both the original will and the executor. In an act of rare integrity, Louis told me the contracted work (and the estimated fees) were no longer necessary -- and tore up the agreement. I was stunned. Louis is the first lawyer I'll call for anything even remotely in his domain. Honest, decent, and truly generous -- a total gem.
