First, I will start by saying that I only gave 1 star because that is my only option. We hosted my daughter's wedding at my home. We had 2 Vendors this company and a Corporate company for catering food. The bathroom was made available to these 2 vendors, and I can say that the other vendor did not have any bags or personal belongings with them, and they spent the entire time after setting up in their catering van until they were needed. The other guests did not bring any bags into the event they were left in their vehicles. During the evening, I noticed that some of my makeup was on the floor in my bathroom. I did not think much of it since we were trying to enjoy this special day. The next morning, I was in my bathroom and followed the trail of my highlighter noticed that the majority of my expensive makeup on my carousel in a glass cabinet was missing. Alot of it was still in original new packaging. So, i did an inventory of the things that I had as well as sending out mass messages to see if anyone saw anything out of the ordinary. The responses that we received back from multiple separate sources including the professional photographer was that the bartender Susy was spotted going into my bathroom with a large black tote bag and was in there for some time. Noone had any reason to suspect anything at that time. She had asked multiple people as well as myself and my daughters on several different occasions where the bathroom was. I would assume asking once would be sufficient after being told the first time. However, she asked the same question on different occasions to different people. We found this out later. So, after looking in the cabinet and noticing what was missing, I also looked in the cabinet under the sink only to find that they also went through that and helped themselves to other things. I also found a washcloth that was covered in the highlighter that was partially cleaned up. I do not have washcloths in my bathroom only in my linen closet area outside of the bathroom that was closed off by curtains. So, what I find that is missing at this point was EXPENSIVE makeup of all different types, face care supplies, Gucci Flora perfume, makeup palettes, about 6 bath & Body works hand sanitizers, about 7-8 wallflower wall plug in scents from bath and body works, body sprays etc. Most all was brand new while very little was used. Some was recently purchased. I'm sure there is more I have not noticed at this point but this totals about 5-$600.00 at this point. After contacting the company, they said t they would ask her... as if she would admit to theft but this is the response:
Company: "The client Ashlee from 1/13 texted me saying expensive makeup and other items came up missing from the guest bathroom at her house which was utilized by vendors. Do you have any insight on this"
Susy: "I am not sure what we are talking about? What vendors"
Company: "Vendors are the people she hired for her event...the bartender and the caterers"
"Did you go into the bathroom and take any makeup"
Susy: "Oh got it. Not sure. I wouldn't steal from any one"
Yes I used the bathroom that Ashlee told me to use 2 times. All I took was a napkin when I washed my hands.
Company: "Ok. I would hope not"
Susy: That would be very stupid on my end and for your company. I would never be that stupid. I have taken like water and pineapple juice sometimes. But never someone stuff from there home. Never in my life.
I wouldn't do that to jeopardize my job as in working for you. Ever."
Now I want to note that there were not any paper towels or napkins in my bathroom at all only in the linen closet where the washcloth was that was used to clean up the mess of broken highlighter in a separate closed off location outside of my bathroom. I had a hand towel hanging by the sink. So, this girl is lying, and I will stand firm in saying that she is the one that did this based on the circumstances with taking a large tote bag into my house witnessed by multiple people. She had no reason to take anything into my house AT ALL! Or out of my house! The company says that they don't have any proof, so they have to take her word. I would not recommend this company for the way this is being handled or lack thereof. I have no reason at this point to think that it would have been anyone else since she was the only one with a bag that went into my home as people saw this and her story that she gave the company is also not true. Please use caution when trusting people around your home even if it is a company.
Aside from that she did not bring the ingredients for the signature drinks that were paid for, she did not have coolers, a knife or a cutting board she asked if we had something she could use. Overly nice NOW I KNOW WHY but ALSO VERY unprofessional. read more
