We love this dog park. It's a great place for our Doodle to get out and run, as well as to learn to…read moresocialize with other dogs. Saturday mornings are crazy fun, with a couple dozen dogs running around. This park is about 2 acres in size, with about a third of it being wooded, giving the pups some fun spots to explore. The main area is open, flat, and covered in mulch/wood chips. Unless you don't mind a muddy car, you might want to avoid rainy days. Water isn't provided, so make sure to bring a bowl and water for your dog and 10 of it's closest friends. There are a half dozen benches, and 2 or 3 picnic tables, but they fill up quickly. Most people bring camp chairs to sit in a group and chat with the other doggie parents while the pooches frolic.

This is basically a water retention basin that's normally dry. There is a walkway around it. The people who use this park have taken on a lot of ownership. There was a container with a number of gallon water jugs. There is a container of balls. While we were there a lady showed up with her dogs and a couple water jugs. She refilled all the water bowls. Everyone had well behaved dogs. This is a park that is better then the components of what you see.

However, there's a large walking circle around a giant field and my dog absolutely loves coming here. I walk around while he runs and plays. If no other dogs are here we play fetch to get out some energy. I've only encountered kind, amazing dogs and dog owners. I was a little nervous as my dog was a pretty sketched out teenager puppy still being socialized and everyone was encouraging and welcoming. There's some benches, bowls where you can put water (definitely bring some in the summer), and normally plenty of balls and random toys.

I wish I could say it was I positive experience but after a complete bust here in January of 2020, we haven't been back to a dog park since. Word to the wise: Lots of mud everywhere so go when it's dry. Be sure that you and your pup play in an uncrowded fenced in area. Take a quick 5 minutes to watch the dog owners and see how attentive they are to their animal(s). Watch the behavior and aggression levels of each dog and how they interact with the others. Know what to do in case of a dog fight and ALWAYS get number of owner if a fight breaks out (and call cops to make sure there's a documented incident report). The park itself is okay. It's a decent open area where your pup can run around and get himself tired. There's a decent agility course that would be good for training but... ...my boy and I had a very traumatic experience here. He's probably forgotten that he was attacked and ganged up on that ended with a laceration over his eye, but I haven't. The images and the sounds. HORRIFIC. And the owner did NOTHING. We are both okay now, but in the end, we only play with dogs we KNOW or in a more controlled setting. Proceed with caution.

Few tips: There are a lot of dogs here, and 99% of them are off leash. If your dog gets overwhelmed by lots of dogs, this might not be the best place for them. Also, sometimes people see moose here so be mindful of your pups while enjoying your time outdoors.

It's fully fenced in so you can let your dogs off leash! There's a small hill where it's not paved and you can walk to the top for a view from up top! Smokey and Bob had a blast meeting, greeting and sniffing EVERYTHING! There's not much shade so come prepared with sunscreen and a big hat!

I appreciate that there are separate areas for different sizes, so both big and small dogs can feel comfortable and safe. The park is generally clean and well‑maintained, and there are benches and shaded spots where you can relax while watching your dog have a blast. It's also fun to meet other dog owners, the atmosphere is friendly and social without ever feeling too crowded. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the water stations can be inconsistent at times, and during peak hours it can get a bit busy. But overall, it's one of the better dog parks in the area and definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fun, open space for your dog to run around.
