When I called they told me that they weren't accepting clients at this time, but that they would take my dogs since my friend referred me, and she'd been bringing her dog to them for years. I waited two months for my appointment. When I arrived there this morning, I was a bit surprised when the owner asked me if I weren't from the area. It was as though she could not understand why I didn't have a groomer already. But she seemed coolly polite, so I didn't give it that much thought, especially as grooming can be difficult work. I told her that one of my dogs, Molly, a Maltese, had been in a puppy mill for five years. Since none of her former groomers had experienced any problems with her, my only concern was that she'd be frightened. Later on, when I returned to pick up my dogs, the owner told me that she had a great deal of trouble with Molly, though she had no problem with Rosie, the Havanese. She let me understand that she would not be grooming Molly anymore. I was surprised, to say the least. Psychologically, I felt that she was shutting the door in my face. I know that she didn't really have a problem with Molly. She obviously wanted to appear a certain way to the person who'd recommended me. She used Molly, an unfortunate puppy mill dog, to close her door on me.

The owners are warm and friendly and very accommodating as they got our baby in at the last minute when the previous dog reservation fell through. The kennel was clean and neat and process is very organized. Animals are picked up and dropped off at appointed times which is great. My dog came out clean and happy but ready to go home. They also provided very personalized touches.. When I picked my baby I was given a framed photo of her stay, report card and a tote bag with her food and medication that I had left with them. This truly is a gem for pets. I will be back

I just had a really awful experience with this clinic. Our dog is about to run out of a glaucoma…read moremedication because of a human family emergency that has kept us away from his regular animal hospital. I called WVC to ask if we could have his glaucoma medication filled by their pharmacy because we are in an emergency situation. Their client service representative refused, telling me both that they have no capacity for new clients, and that they refuse to fill a prescription from another doctor. She was inflexible, insensitive, rude and dismissive, and she hung up on me when I was trying to make a final suggestion. And to top it off, all this happened after waiting on hold on the phone for over ten minutes, she dismissed my comment that I had already waited ten minutes, and put me on hold again. My family have been clients of this practice since the 1980s. I am so disappointed and angry. They don't deserve to care for our animals if this is the way they treat their family members.

There is not enough that I can possibly say about Dr. Price at Clinton Pet Vet. I have a very, very…read moredeep love for my babies. Dr.Price has been my savior since 2014. It first started with my boy Hank. Two other places almost killed him because they neglected him the proper care and almost killed him. In 2019, unfortunately one of my babies Abby became very ill and had to be put down, Dr. Price knew how bad this was for me and came right to my home and took care of everything. Not everyone would do that. Then in 2020 my other baby Sophia, who was 15 at the time ended up with a lot of health issues. With every ounce of love and expertise Dr. Price was able to care for her and she was with us for two more years until she was 17. And from there on out Dr. Price and her wonderful staff continue to take care of all of my babies. I currently have 6 dogs and 1 cat and I can't imagine having them cared for by anyone but Dr. Price and her staff. Thank you to all of them!
