We have visited about 100 dog parks at this point: This was a nice little dog park for us in the summer of 2017. Lots of shade, I had to walk from the parking lot and look for it (not immediately evident where it was). It's right in town, It had dirt, and a colorful agility course for the dogs to play. Very nice park. Beware female human with male dog named Shimish. Owner starts yelling if any dog goes near Shimish, dogs hackles come up. She's clearly aware of aggressive tendencies or past issues. read more

This is a beautiful dog-friendly park with a nice walking path. The dog park itself has 2 areas I'm assuming one is for smaller dogs and one is for large dogs with plenty of area to run around and burn off energy. My dogs appreciated the green surroundings after a long day of travel. read more

Nice clean dog park with plenty of shade. Not as crowded as some of the other parks in the area.

We travel to a lot of dog parks with out two Labrador retrievers. This one is in an older section of Flagstaff, and after reading the reviews and driving there first hand, we'd say take a pass. The area just gave us an unsafe feeling, and we parked, checked in, and departed. Maybe the town will build a newer dog park to serve other outdoor enthusiasts with pups, or the college crowd? Nonetheless, take your dogs and park here at your own risk. read more

After reading reviews, because we were traveling, I stayed with the car while my husband took our dog into the park. It is not at all sketchy. It seemed very peaceful and calm with lots of older people walking their dogs in the morning. My husband said the dog park section was excellent and our dog had a wonderful time.It is a beautiful park and we will certainly return. read more

My 2 dogs had fun at this dog park. It is extremely large, has an agility course, is well shaded and has picnic tables. The park was very clean. Snickers and Dolly were the only dogs in the dog park during our 2 hour visit. Lots of dogs being walked in the surrounding area but none of them entered the dog section. The poor rating is justified by no clean-up bags were provided and the drinking fountain was broken. read more

This is an off-leash dog park located inside Bushmaster Park. To get to the dog park, follow the walking trails to the middle of the park. There are two separate areas for small and large dogs. The large dog area has some picnic tables and agility objects. I gave this dog park two stars because there is a dangerous amount of broken glass and fire ant hills throughout the off-leash area. My dogs played there for about 20 minutes without incident, but use caution if you are going to this dog park. read more

Having read the previous reviews, I struggle not to refute them. I'll limit my rebuttal to this: I saw no broken glass or fire ant hills and dog owners alone do not define the park. We've visited the park (the big side) with our two babies on three separate occasions this year. When we came in June we were the only dogs present. Our two visits in July were both pleasant. While we were alone at one point or another, in both instances we did enjoy the company of at least three other dogs. The park is full of wood chips, rather than grass. This is partly why I give a four-star review. Grass is my dogs' preference, though they did fine, ultimately. The park also has several obstacles (ramps, tunnels etc.) that could be fun to play on with your dogs. Some of the owners we met were quite social, nice to talk with, while others weren't so social. During one visit a newly adopted dog was a little wild, but they were also new to the dog park and their owner was very attentive. We'd gladly return to this park. While it's not among our favorites, this was our preferred park in Flagstaff. read more

Tons of broken glass and cigarette butts all over the ground. My dog even found a chicken bone. Not a safe place to bring your pups

This park could definitely use some work. We found this spot on a lim while we were out visiting the area our dog was not feeling it and we could tell. She usually goes off and does her own thing and comes back when she's ready to go home. She didn't leave our side as much the dogs there were all playful and nice. Also, it's pretty pointless to have the water fountain outside the gates at least in my opinion.. it just made it way more difficult then it needs to be. Every time you try to take your dog out for water all the other dogs run out as well and it's just a mess. It's pretty obvious this park isn't maintained or regularly upkept. read more

My dogs love this dog park. It's so nice to be able to have a place for them to run around freely. They loved the agility course (even if it took them a second to get the hang of it). It has two sections for large and small dogs which is nice since there were 2 large dogs here and my dogs are on the small to medium size so we took them to the small fenced in area until they left. My only concern was the amount of broken glass and cigarette butts we found around in the dirt which isn't safe. The water fountain also didn't work but luckily we had water bottles. We will definitely come back! read more

Started out very excited about having a dog park so close to our hotel....until we arrived at the park. I will say the dog park itself is large, clean and i had no problems with other dogs or dog owners. The area surrounding the dog park is a different story. There were people passed out everywhere.....in the grass on the benches....not to mention people offering illegal substances to those passing by. We will not be returning. read more

Stay away! Found lots of broken glass in the dog areas along with pine cones and other sharp debris. My dog is now limping.

Well, after traveling from Ca to Co we decided to take our 5 month old puppy to the dog park,only to have him jumped by an adult aggressive dog. The owner was a women with two dogs .never made an attempt to call him off or care..the poor pup was really scared ..it would of been fun....Such a rude dog owner and so non caring for the pup read more
