It's self-service and there are plenty of tables. It's very clean inside. I ordered the pickled vegetables but they didn't have them and the woman was so apologetic. I told her it was no problem. They have a handful of herring flavours (maybe 8-10 total) varying from traditional to experimental. I opted for one of the more unusual ones - the Thai flavoured. I was shocked at how good the Thai flavours were!! It was like having curry from a Thai restaurant. It also complemented the herring so well which I wasn't expecting. The herring itself was different from the pickled, slimy herring I've had before. It was more of a baked/flaky fish. I actually preferred that. It also came with complimentary bread which I wasn't expecting. The bread was just okay (pretty dry) but I used it to mop up the extra curry sauce. The herring + a vodka was 30 PLN. Maybe a bit costly but not bad! Overall would recommend!

Seating is challenging as there's very few indoor seats available. While outdoor seating is available, there are a lot of smokers, and you're crammed into limited outdoor space. It gets crowded, especially when they block off some reserved tables. The metal chairs are packed into tight quarters, and I constantly bumped into people getting in and out of seat. Despite the unpleasant seating experience, I had the most delicious herrings and enjoyed the sauces here! The MUST ORDER item is The Herrings Platter, which has 4 flavors: Mustard (mustard seed and honey sauce), Yellow (curry raisins and honey), Hot & Spicy (abodabo chipotles), Pink (beetroots and cream). Baked Penne with Chicken was mediocre, but portion size was generous.

There is table service and prices are neither cheap nor too expensive. What is good value though is spring water, which is something ludicrously cheap like one zloty. There is a range of various types of food available, including paninis and various pasta dishes. The food I've tried has been really tasty and very reasonably priced. I've had pasta with swiss ham and sun-dried tomatoes a few times. Another favourite of mine is the so-called "mini pavlova". In fact this there is nothing mini about it at all. With meringue, peanut butter and mascarpone cream cheese it really a revelation. I dread to think how many calories it has in it though. On the down side the wait can be very variable. Personally I have been served very quickly, but some of my friends who have been there at the same time as me (and sometimes eating the same dish, but a little later in the evening) have had to wait what seems like an hour for their food.

When we entered we decided to ask whether they take card, and the answer was no. Luckily there was an ATM just a minute or two away. We ordered pancakes with dark chocolate and a menu with three different types of cottage cheese. First of all the pancakes were actually one single which surprised me in a good way. However, I think they used too much egg in the batter (or maybe it was on purpose) but for my taste it was closer to an omelette than a pancake, which is not the best combination with chocolate. Also as a chocolate lover (and who isn't?) I would have appreciated a bit more chocolate. The cheese dish then: before we got our food they put a basket with bread on the table, which we of course attacked like hungry wolves. When the food arrived we were surprised to see that the cheese menu is really just that: three cups with cream cheese, which cost 15 zl. We understood that the bread was actually meant for the cheese menu only. Surely they could have served this together with the cheese or maybe warned us that the bread was meant to go with it. The cheese itself was excellent however, especially the one with basil. Lastly, they should step up their bread game, because this was this kind of pre-baked baguette that you just need to heat up. So will we be back? Probably not for breakfast. By reading the comments here it seems it is worth a second shot, maybe for dinner to taste the wine.

This seems to be the kind of place where you can do all sorts of activities: from breakfast with your friends, to lunch meeting with a client or sitting down with a glass of red wine and reading a good book. My colleague and I had settled in here for a work meeting and so at some point I got a little peckish. I don't think they had an English menu, but luckily there was one Polish speaking person and so I was able to hear what they had on offer. Unfortunately they were out of soup on that day and so I decided on a mixed salad and a cheese-and-meat platter. Both dishes were simple, but quite tasty. It came with plenty of bread, which by itself was really yummy. They have free wifi here, but only a few outlets. During our visit the wifi was not working, but the owner gave us access to the internal network...that was really nice and I very much appreciated this gesture.

Went to this location at the beginning of the night and to the Kazimierz location toward the end of it, or somewhere in the middle...it was definitely a long, epic night in Krakow. We did not try the food but I know I'd like it. Simple Polish standards that go well with drinking. All the food is 8 zl and all the drinks are 4 zl. We had shots only. Plain vodka, Vibovit, Polo-cocta, and Borewicz. The shots were very sweet so we finished washing them down with just plain vodka. All the vodka was perfectly chilled. That was not the case at the Kazimierz location where they were warmer. Warm vodka is not good vodka, blah. The idea of this chain is awesome.
