They served the tea to me with the most beautiful saucer and tea set. We managed to enjoy our last day here with an amazing 29 euro prix fix lunch! The quality of the food was super fresh. Lynch was in the more casual cafe area of this restaurant. Dinner is upstairs in the fancier dining room. But this is perfect because for lunch most people are rolling in casual either partly in ski gear or in jeans. The duck rillette that I had came in a jar and was so tasty esp with the perfect baguette. There was a decent amount to choose from in the lunch menu. We paired it with an excellent bottle of Beaujolais! Definitely want to come back for the tasting menu dinner the next time we're in Val D'Isere. This is the reason why we come back year after to year to ski in the French Alps.

When you enter the place you see the adorable decorative items reminiscent of a French cafe. There are small cafe tables and an enclosed patio that is adjacent to the main room. You feel as if you are a world away...which could be why there were so many couples chatting or whispering sweet nothings to each other. One's eyes are drawn automatically to the display case with shelves of tortes... Drooling is expected from this luscious display. The menu of beverages reads like a novel; it is so large: green teas, infusions, Chinese teas, Indian teas, Black teas, hot chocolates, etcetera etcetera. I had a slice of Arancia cheesecake which was cheesecake with a layer of marmalade and slices of Orange on top. With this I had an infusion called "Feeling Good." There is plenty of indoor seating including stools, tables, and also an outdoor patio. Dogs are also welcome here! They also sell accessories like mugs, tin boxes and trinkets. My new favourite tea spot. Amazing gluten free cakes available too. Although they are pre-packaged, don't underestimate the little guys in the basket on the counter before the display case of regular sweets.
