Superb dining and open until pretty late for Turin, which is a blessing for those tourists who needed to get in a little nap in the late afternoon after too much gelato and walking in the sun. We ordered a tartare, which was fantastically rich and smooth. Granted, I put in even more olive oil, salt and pepper of my own, but their olive oil was so delicious, I just had to. We also ordered one of their pizzas, and the server was very happy to help us modify the ingredients a bit to suit our taste. The house pour wines were very good, and paired very well with our food. We also had two desserts, one Benet, which is basically a chocolate flan, and the other a kind of chocolate lava cake, which we thought was a bit out of date, but none the less magically delicious- perhaps we shall just call it a contemporary classic. A funny thing happened to me while waiting for the bathroom- an elderly gentleman asked me where I was from and why I was visiting Turin, introducing himself as a tourist from Rome.
