The map on Yelp shows they cover my area (central Manchester), but I just called and spoke with a man who said they don't. Too bad.

This review reflects my personal experience with this contractor. I recommend obtaining a copy of…read moretheir proof of insurance, having a very detailed written contract, and confirming all payment terms before any work begins. In our case, we were asked to pay in cash or make checks out to our own name rather than the contractor's business entity. We didn't realize this might be a red flag, but I'd suggest other consumers to clarify all payment details and ensure that checks are made payable to the business entity (not an individual) to protect themselves should any issues arise. I was dissatisfied with how the project was handled. Some work did not match what I understood to be our agreement (including the invoices themselves and written communications), and there was damage to our property (over a year later). The portions of the work that differed from the contract (as invoiced) were not covered under warranty, even though the company's website referenced a 5-year warranty on hardscaping policy. The products (plants) they said were under warranty were not replaced or refunded, despite multiple requests (and after spending over $36k with them). I offered to resolve the matter through the contractor's insurance, but proof of coverage was not provided. I was also billed for services I did not authorize. We ultimately had to hire another contractor to replace a portion of their work from our last contract and correct the work completed under one of the contracts, resulting in more than tripling the costs for that particular item. After a year of written attempts to resolve these issues, we were unable to reach an agreement. We were recommended in our correspondence by them to file a small claims case to recover what I believe are my losses. The experience was costly and stressful, especially since the work was for an elderly family member recovering from a stroke. I wish I had read all the online reviews on Yelp and Google more carefully. Based on my experience, I would not hire this contractor again and recommend that others proceed carefully (should they decide to proceed with them). If you want images and videos, it's in my review on Google Maps.

We are new in town & trusted this company to say, hey it's to late in the season to plant grass. it's been raining.... I chalked it up to the rain, the heat when my grass all choked out & died. still didn't write a review, but called another person in who basically said, it's all about timing and you were taken for a ride. Still didn't write a review until now when I came outside to my yard looked down at the so called "dirt" they threw down, it is filled with ROCKS ! NOW I'm mad and you get your review.

My association has been w Bill's for a few years (we signed a contract). First of all, extremely…read moreexpensive. Bill's oversalts for no reason. Sure, they give a dog and pony show (w slides) showing people falling and suing, and say they follow a strict guideline when salting. I don't believe this to be true. Case in point, a week ago we experienced heavy rains in the morning and early afternoon. This was followed by very high winds throughout the rest of the day. This totally dried all roads and majority of sidewalks. Yet, Bill's put down a high volume of salt after midnight when roads were dry. There was absolutely no black ice. I drove through town early the next morning to do errands. I saw no roads (public or private) salted, including several condo / apt complexes. In addition, they continue to oversalt walkways and covered porches, sometimes w green, sometimes pink, sometimes grayish-colored salt. Some of it is corrosive to concrete, some is not pet-friendly. They do this to make more money, under the guise of safety. Call the office... no return call (twice). Last winter, which was pretty average for snow totals, they caused a safety hazard by creating a snow mound near the exit of our development. You could not see around it unless you pulled out into a busy street. The association had to pay extra for Bill's to abate the problem they created. I could go on but, hopefully, you get the message. Why 2 stars instead of one? They show up and do a decent jib of plowing and shoveling. Two very expensive stars.

When I politely asked him to move it, he first was sarcastic, then disrespectful, rude and finally verbally abusive. The tractor left tire tracks on my lawn which I had to repair myself. Additionally, this is a very narrow street with parking permitted only on one side. Of course, he was parked on the no-parking side and so far out into the street that he was virtually blocking traffic. I cannot imagine how any company like this can possibly have been in business as long as their web site claims. If you are considering using this company, I would strongly urge you to reconsider.

I asked the owner on several occasions for assistance around what to do and was regularly met with rude responses or no follow up on addressing the issues with my lawn. I had asked for someone to come out and see the issues. I was told they would get to it but chose not to come out, and they simply canceled the contract. The way I was spoken to on a number of occasions made me feel disrespected more than once. The owner of this company made me question small businesses, their poor attention to detail, and their lack of concern around customer service.
