Unfortunately, the mascarpone was served frozen! It had been pre-prepared and frozen, and had not been thawed prior to serving. Surely, the mascarpone should be freshly prepared, like all other decent restaurants do it. So if you want to pay expensive city centre prices for frozen microwave meals, this is the place for you. We also had a bottle of Chardonnay (allegedly it was Chardonnay). It was the worst bottle of wine I have ever had in a restaurant. It was very acidic and we didn't finish the bottle. Anyway, the manger was impolite and extremely challenging, reducing the bill by a total of £2 after a long conversation. No wonder the restaurant was less than 10% full.
