They don't stock many of the stone products and each time you order, they have to check the latest…read moreprices and it can be weeks for delivery. i had to put in two orders for cultured stone within a few months and one delivery was within 2 weeks, the second was 3+ weeks and there was a 30 cent per sq foot fee added for the higher costs of shipping when clearly gas prices were down, not up. I would not have been as bothered by this if the shipping was expedited, but the manufacturer was clearly waiting to fill a truck before shipping the material anyway. GTS seems a small player and apparently does not have the clout with manufacturers to counter this behavior. in general from a customer service perspective, during all of this they underwhelmed with a lack of call backs and follow up, All this said, if they are the only local supplier of a particular manufacturer's product, and that's the one you like, you have to deal with it.

I should have brought them a sample in the first place pure laziness on my part. Vinny their driver turned around went back to the yard unloaded, reloaded and came directly back to my house with the right item. DROVE TO THE BRONX to their other location because it was told to me that location had the same piece of equipment ready to go. They charged my card then told me once it was on my truck that this one wasn't charged either, but gave me a charger to use. Too bad the fuse was blown on it. We ended up manually lifting copy machines up four floors the rest of the day because of their lack of competence. Like c'mon guys, all you have to do is rent stuff and be sure that it works... terrible decision by me to use this company and even more terrible customer service on their part. Deceptive return policy. Tried to return 5 Gallon paver sealer yesterday. They told me it is an…read moreadhesive (which on back of receipt return policy says no returns on bag adhesives) the sealer is in a sealed plastic container, so if a sealer is considered an adhesive (which I don't belive it is) this would not qualify for my return. I also feel since I am female I was discriminated against. Tried to reach out to the owner of company Robert Affenita to resolve this, he has not returned my call. I will be reporting this to the BBB.
