When getting to the top of Holt hill, you will be amazed by the Boston skyline without occlusion. Compared to the breathtaking view at Holt hill, the one at the top of Boston hill slightly disappoints me. It is still an enjoyable walk surrounded by the view of the sunset, but the skyline is missing. You may not get too much out of the elephant rock. Again, overall it is a fantastic place for walking, jogging, and biking.

They were fun, funny, knowledgeable, and basically one of the gang with guide authority. The owner of the company came with us on this trip. She was fun, did everything we did, never put on any airs, and I felt like she was "one of us.". All of the food, hotel, etc was taken care of. We even celebrated a birthday for one one of the hikers in the group! I am looking for more trips to go on with SUP YO and a group of us are planning to go in another trip or a weekend hike together again!!

I swear, too many people use Yelp just to complain. I appreciate how well-marked the trails are here. There are many signs and color markings on trees to tell you what trail you're on and the intersections with other trails. The trails aren't too steep but there are a lot of tree roots so be sure to watch your step. There are nice views of Lake Cochichewet along the trails and at least one bench nearby so you can relax and enjoy the view. I did see one off-leash dog so I can see how that would be annoying. Thankfully the dog was friendly and all the other dogs I saw were leashed. I brought my dog on a leash and he enjoyed the walk. Parking lot is a little small but it's free. I plan to come here with my dog again and explore the other trails.

Kathleen has been walking my two dogs now for a few weeks and I have no idea how we survived…read morewithout her! My 2yo lab / hound mix has (had!) horrendous anxiety! Since Kathleen has been working with him, walks are such a pleasure now. He is checking in and managing his anxiety instead of freaking out and reacting. He loves his trips to Pine Banks to see the ducks and you can really tell they have a routine as he and my older dog practically drag me over there to do their own thing. Kathleen is truly wonderful and we love having her!!

I met her four years ago while walking my dog on the street. I could immediately tell she knew well how to communicate with dogs and she treated them with love, care and patience. I did not realize she was a dog walker at the very beginning but as soon as she told me, I knew she is the one I can trust. For the years followed, I had Kathleen taking care of benny a few times, each time a one or two week long vacation. She never let me down! She was on time, paying attention and very professional. She kept records in detail on Benny's behavior. She had a checklist of her duties and Benny's routine. She had yummy treats (they are even organic!) at her own cost for benny. She gave Benny plenty of exercise time. Recently we moved to Woburn which was about 8 miles away. I was wondering if Kathleen would still come to walk Benny. She did! She still offered me the same low rate which never changed for the past four years and she came with a pot of beautiful flowers as a gift to our new house! That was so nice of her! I am very happy to write my review here (my first review on Yelp) for Kathleen to show my appreciation for her superb service. She is the one who knows animals and loves them. Two dog parks, a huge playground where we had a picnic, horses, a very large cow and many smaller animals in the children's barn. Plenty of space to run around and very nice, clean restrooms. We went on a Tuesday, so there were no parking or admission fees. We will definitely go back in the warmer weather. What a Gem!
