Plus, we were having such a good conversation that before I knew it, the session was over and I was good to go! I will say that Google inadvertently has her business listed as a "beauty school", and because she's legit across the street from the junior college, I booked because of all her great reviews but got nervous that I had actually booked at some cosmetology class inside of the college instead. Nope! The Wax Shack is poised behind a local law office, so I did need a little help making my way up to her actual door, but it was nothing major and the services were amazing. Will be back soon!

Just finished my Brazilian wax with Marri! Every 5-6 weeks is the best to keep it maintained!! But,…read moreI started coming to Marri when I was newly pregnant in the beginning of 2022. I just didn't want to deal with trying to shave because once you get a big , pregnant belly, it's nearly impossible. IYKYK. It was my first time ever getting waxed , and a Brazilian nonetheless. I know your body and skin is super sensitive in pregnancy so I was so super worried about the pain of the wax. But Marri was so kind , welcoming, reassuring, fun, easy to talk to. I felt like I've known her for years!!! I don't think many people can say they look forward to getting waxed, but I always do because Marri is such a gem of a human. I'm so grateful to know her. Yes, it does hurt, but she's lightening fast. And she will talk to you about any and everything to keep your mind occupied, it's like a built in therapy session too!!! (Or she also does "quiet sessions" too if you prefer not to talk!!!). I truly wouldn't want to go to anyone else and I always recommend her to everyone I know !!!! Her stellar reviews speak for themselves!!! If you're in the market for a new wax queen or want to try for your first time, go see Marri, you'll be glad you did !!!

***This review is of the company NOT my esthetician.***…read more I booked a bundle wax package online and arrived for my appointment early. I was quickly checked in and had an amazing service appointment with Angelita. I go to pay and I notice (too late) that the amount being charged is more than the online bundle price quoted. When I spoke to the gal at the front she was helpful but it would have been better had she caught the issue BEFORE I caught it as I was paying. Now I have to call the manager and take up her time to help correct this issue because now it's a matter of principle regardless of the amount.
