I'm flying out tonight and received an email advertising "Try Any Service for $10," including a spray tan with 3 additives. Perfect timing, so I figured I'd stop at the Tempe location on my way to work. Before going, I specifically checked the fine print in the email AND the website because I wanted to make sure there wasn't a "new clients only" restriction. I didn't see one. When I arrived, the receptionist asked if I had received the promotional email, which I showed her. She checked me in using my ID and then told me that because I was a former client, the promotion didn't apply -- apparently it's only for new clients. I explained that nowhere in the fine print I could find did it say "new clients only." She was nice about it and even called her manager, so my frustration isn't with her. They discussed my account and determined my last visit was August 30th of last year and that I could use the offer once a full year had passed. So apparently I'm eligible in a few weeks...but not today. ‍ I left without getting the spray tan. If a promotion has eligibility restrictions, especially something as significant as "new clients only" or "you haven't visited in a year," that should be clearly stated BEFORE someone makes the trip to the salon. I'll include screenshots of both the email I received and the website promotion because this is exactly why customers need to read the fine print -- although apparently even that isn't always enough. Unsubscribing this time. For good.

I walked into this location wishing to get a spray tan before my upcoming trip to Hawaii. I walked into the building and there was no one at the front. I waited as two employees walked up chatting. I stood there waiting and just kind of looking around. One of the girls goes "umm did you like need something or?" I explained I wanted a spray tan and she asked if I wanted the membership. I had to ask her what the different prices because she didn't just explain things to me from the jump. Then once I said I just wanted one she told me what color to get and had me add all these extras to make sure I look good. I was initially told my spray tan was going to be $25 but when she added these extras that I didn't even know what they were for I ended up with a total of $47. I go in, do the tan with no assistance or tips other than to put a hair net on. As I'm walking out they don't even acknowledge me.. it was just an overall displeasing experience. I now am home not even knowing what color my spray tan is going to look like or how long I should be leaving it on. I guess it's my bad for not asking but you would also think they would at least try to help me since I said it was my first time and I was nervous. Just disappointed I guess.

Their website has good information on how to get ready for your spray tan and the Aftercare as well. I wanted to tan nude so that I would not have any tan lines and was worried I would not feel comfortable, this was definitely not an issue. I recently had a Brazilian and underarm wax with Melissa Stauffer at the Chandler location, and…read moreunfortunately, my experience was very concerning. During my entire Brazilian wax, Melissa did not wear gloves at any point. I also personally observed her reuse applicator sticks by placing them back into the wax after they had already made contact with my skin. She also wiped the area from back to front during the service. There was no cleansing or skin preparation before she began waxing. The waxing technique itself was also disappointing. Several areas were waxed repeatedly because the hair was not being removed adequately, which made the service much more uncomfortable than necessary. Despite the repeated passes, I still left with visible hair remaining in both my Brazilian area and underarms. I have had Brazilian waxes before, so I understand that techniques can vary between providers. However, my concerns here were primarily about sanitation and basic professional practices, not personal preference. I did contact management afterward, and I want to give them credit for how they handled my complaint. They responded promptly, acknowledged that my sanitation and service concerns were valid, apologized, and issued a full refund for both services. I genuinely appreciate their response. Unfortunately, my individual experience with Melissa was still concerning enough that I felt it was important to share for other clients considering booking waxing services.
