The plate comes with a small salad, pita bread, fries, choice of protein, and side of tzatziki sauce. The beef was tender, but not all that flavorful. I actually finished everything else prior to the protein which is a first. Although the chicken that is so good and with the occasional crunchy bits! The french fries were perfectly crispy and the feta cheese balanced out the saltiness for me. We actually came back here before our flight back home and got the shawarmas! TSA almost got to my tzatziki sauce since it went through inspection but thankfully it didn't! Definitely coming back!

Price is great for what you get. I ordered seafood platter and lamb & rice. Seafood was as fresh as you can get in Alberta. Calamaris are cooked to perfect crispness and the batter on them are not too thick, just enough to give that light and buttery feeling. The lamb dish was incredible...the meat was so tender, it break a part so easily just by a spoon or a fork lightly touch it. The seasoning on it are so on point, you feel you are setting in one of the bank house in Greek. Even the rice was flavoured and cooked impressively. The deserts were unbelievable. I am not a big sweet tooth, but I had to try everything they offered, because they looks just way too good. The owner actually gave us free desert since some of us from really far away and someone had a personal connection with Greek. I am really happy for the experience I had in this restaurant.

TL;DR: Don't go on a Friday night…read more The place is tiny and super loud, it's almost impossible to have a conversation. Tables are packed so close together you can practically share appetizers with strangers. If you're a fish lover, you'll probably be fine; but for those of us who don't eat fish (or just hate the smell), it's rough. The whole place reeks, and it's not pleasant. Food itself? Pretty good. Service? Brutally slow. We waited about 40 minutes for our dishes. When the pork souvlaki finally arrived, the server wasn't even sure if it was chicken or pork and just left it up to us to figure it out. Also, fair warning: they have a dish they flame up tableside with zero notice. Nearly singed my ears off. I get that when the restaurant is not packed is amazing. But tonight, they dropped the ball. Hard. That said, not coming back, ever, again.

The only disappointment was the greeting - first time at this restaurant. The fellow looking after reservations and seating was neither friendly nor accommodating. I wanted to try more items, but I did have later dinner plans that I didn't want to spoil. The temptation was there! They don't rush, it's not fast food so be patient because it will be worth it for the taste. Prices seem reasonable. Much like Jess B. mentioned in the 2/23/25 review, I came in expecting a great Greek breakfast but ended up with something that felt more like a standard diner experience. That said, the young woman who greeted and served us was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. I ordered the pancakes with eggs. The pancakes were far too doughy and oddly topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and bananas -- a presentation that felt more suited to a child's menu than an adult breakfast order. Want to put a cute topping on my cakes - you should ask me. They were also overcooked, as was the over-hard egg. At one point I even joked to my girlfriend that it felt like there must be a college kid running the kitchen. The service saved the experience, but the food definitely needs improvement.
