The bartender was hilarious and incredibly accommodating, even while juggling the whole room with ease. Pro tip: make sure to tell the bartender when you're ready to order--it's part of the charm and keeps things moving smoothly. We were seated next to some Midwest locals who were beyond friendly, striking up conversation and making us feel instantly welcome. That kind of atmosphere is hard to find and really made the night. The food was outstanding for the price--honestly about one-third the cost of what you'd pay in a big city, and just as good (if not better). The salad bar and soup were excellent, fresh, well-stocked, and exactly what you hope for in a true Midwest supper club. Great people, great food, great value, and zero pretension. This place is the real deal, and we'll absolutely be back.
