The steak and cheese torta filled me up but i wanted to save space for some fries. I was only able to eat maybe a third of my plate, so I have leftovers for my next meal for sure. My friends had the El Mariachi torta and Fajitas and they said they were also tasty, and PLENTY of food for the pricepoint.

My friend ordered the highly talk about birria taco. And i ordered birria sandwich. Ordered the mexican-style tiramisu as well. Friend love the birria tacos and not so much the sandwich. As for me, both are alright. Not wow or to rave about. I love the green chili sauce tho. I enjoy my sandwich because of this sauce....and I pour it generously. Tiramisu is good , light and not too sweet. but didnt blow my mind either. Friendly and attentive service. They have dining table at the main room (where the cashier and kitchen is), another dining area further back (no view of kitchen and cashier) where we sat. My area was empty except me and friend and less traffic for the server to come by or maybe check on us since we r out of sight (unless they wanna go to washroom). hence it's bit harder to find someone to help . need to walk to cashier to ask for stuff. Overall, good one-time experience.

Crispy Shrimp Bowl: From first impressions, the portions did look a bit smaller than other similar chains. The shrimp itself were tasty and alright portions. The carne asada itself was delicious but similar comments with the crispy shrimp that it was too saucy. I found that the value wouldn't be worth it at their regular price and was a bit of a lacking quality that got something that is considerably higher pricing. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing experience.

We decided to start with the Fries Supreme, which have obviously been modeled after Taco Bell's iconic dish. And yeah, they definitely reminded me of that concoction. The fries could've been fresher and hotter but otherwise I quite enjoyed this messy plate. For the main, I went with a couple of tacos: the Chorizo and the Pulled Pork. The latter I found especially enjoyable, as the sauce the pork had been cooked in was delicious. (It was large chunks of pork, though, so I'm not quite sure it qualifies as pulled pork.) The many hot sauces available, plus the two sauces brought with the tacos, really elevated the whole thing, but I really enjoyed the creamy, cilantro-forward sauce included on the plate. Contigo is a cool little place. I'm sure I'll be returning.

Upon entering this restaurant, we were kindly greeted by the server at the front. We were then brought to a table on the upper level near the window which was near the railing therefore, was a tad tight. The music was lively however, not too loud. As well, the décor was set just right for a Mexican restaurant, with many decorations relating to the Day Of The Dead, which is a Mexican holiday. For my meal, I had settled on the pork carnitas without any onion or cilantro, while my daughter had the french fries, and my mother had the beef picadillo. I found that the wraps for the pork carnitas weren't too fresh however, the pork was a good amount, and tasted well-prepared. I would have liked to have some sort of a sauce or topping to go with the pork carnitas however, I only had the side order of diced avocado which was given, along with some Mexican inspired rice. Overall, the food was good however, it wasn't as good as I would have hoped. The prices were a tad high for what we had gotten however, I do respect that this is a family-owned business, and prices are high at every restaurant these days. The service was definitely great, with the server coming to check in on us as we dined, and filling up our water jug from time-to-time. I may come back here to try another item, as the food is definitely authentic, and well-prepared.

Preparation was super quick. I ordered from the Square One parking lot before starting my car, and 15 mins later when I arrived, it was already ready. Food-wise, I'm a fan. While I enjoy shawarma, I often find it too heavy especially for summer, so I tend to stay away. I liked this chicken/rice box a lot since the sauce felt much lighter and easier to eat even when it's hot outside. The portion size was good; the styrofoam takeout box the meal came in was topped up and the amount in it would definitely be enough for one person. There was enough sauce, the whole bowl felt very fresh, and I liked the tomatoes that topped the bowl since it added something cold + tangy to the meal. Location is convenient, next to Square One and easy to find, but has limited (all paid) street parking. It's best to go with someone to drive, pop off quickly to pick up, and go. All in all a solid experience. I'd definitely come back for more Alijandro's Box. At the BOGO price I got it for, portion size was great, but at the original price, I'd think it leans towards being pricey, as the box isn't really that full. But, flavour and freshness are all really good, so I can anticipate myself craving this soon!

Very close to square one shopping mall, this is a good option when you're in the area. There was one person in there working as far as we could tell when we went in this evening. We grabbed the box and some tacos. The box is a mix of rice and salad with a choice of filling (we got chicken) and it was topped with some beans, corn and chickpeas with some delicious sauce. The tacos were cool- not your typical Mexican taco with flour or corn tortilla. It was like a pita but crispy after being in the press with the filling and topped with lettuce, salsa and sauce. The sauces are a variety- some being hummus or a tahini which is where the fusion cuisine takes place. Would definitely come back.
