The next time I'm in Guelph, I will definitely consider coming back to this place!

My coworkers took me here for my birthday, and we had a reservation for 7:30 PM. Upon arrival, we…read morewere offered the patio or a booth in the corner. We chose the dining room because we like to live dangerously. Our server, Grace, asked if it was our first time visiting. We said yes, which felt like the perfect opportunity for a quick menu rundown. Instead, we were sent off on a culinary scavenger hunt to figure it out ourselves. The menu is pretty small, so if you have dietary restrictions, you may spend more time reading than ordering. The cleanliness was about a 6.5/10. Our table was sticky enough to make me question whether I should be paying rent for my elbow's spot, and the women's washroom could definitely use some extra attention. To be fair, Grace was great about checking on drinks, which was important because drinks quickly became the main course. Now for the food. If you arrive hungry, do yourself a favor and order the platter. I ordered tacos and left with the same appetite I arrived with. The tacos were less of a meal and more of a suggestion. Since it was my birthday, I was entitled to a complimentary churro plate. After about 20 minutes of waiting--and wondering whether Grace had completed her shift, moved away, or started a new life elsewhere--it finally arrived. And honestly? The churros were the MVP of the evening. The portion was much bigger than expected, and they were delicious. The other highlight was the Fandango Malcaz shot we had to celebrate. If the tacos were the opening act, the shot and churros were the headliners. Final verdict: Come for the drinks, stay for the churros, and if you're actually hungry, order the platter. Trust me--future you will thank you.

Personally, I was expecting to really like it here but unfortunately felt like it was just not the place for me. The waitress wasn't very friendly and forgot to add tofu to my salad. The salad itself was fine, but nothing too special. I honestly wish this cafe would have oriented itself more towards being a pub with pub food, rather than a cafe with cafe food. There were some alcoholic beverages that looked interesting to try, so I will perhaps revisit on an evening when I feel like having a bevy or two.

Nay, that the universe has to offer. Virtuoso leadership from customer service representative Eileen (we love u sis) she literally could have sold me a piece of shit and I would have paid whatever price she told me to. Thank god, she gave us burritos, because I would've bought anything she offered me. Not only is she beautiful with that sparkling eyeshadow, but she made the best burrito that fat Bastard has ever made. She made it like it was nobody's business. I paid for a burrito, but she gave me an Oscar winning show. Not only was I impressed with her service, I was blown away by her genuine desire to improve the customer experience. I ordered from Level Resto Lounge recently and it was delicious. What's awesome about this place is the variety. Their menu boasts options such as lobster quesadillas, Lebanese fattoush, samosas or your classic cheeseburger. I went with the Nashville friend chicken sandwich and fries. A classic Friday night pre-trivia meal, am I right? I'm normally picky about ordering fried items because I'm unsure how the breading to meat ratio will be. I was pleasantly surprised when the chicken was first of all, quite large, and secondly, not overly fried. It was a great balance. One of the most important things in my life is sauce. I love it. And it's sad when there is not enough. This was not the case here! Perfectly sauced and truly Nashville fried chicken done right. The fries on the side were seasoned, I am not sure with what but it was delicious. My friend ordered the lobster quasadilla and it took everything in me not to steal some. Would love to return in person here because looking at their website gallery it's a funky spot!

The waitress seemed a bit disinterested and distracted, but otherwise the place was good. I would recommend checking it out. Based on what I tried, I would most recommend their chicken club (which is stacked)!

Thoroughly impressed.
