I had a hair appointment with this Barber/ladies hair salon in Jan. I agreed the colour and treatment (high light) however, while she was drying the hair, I noticed that the colour was not what was agreed, the high light itself were very thick and she had left approx 1/2 inch gap between the colour and scalp, the colour was uneven and work/finish touches untidy. Top of my hair had a strange blocks of blonde/yellow colour hairs looking very odd and out of place. I brought all that to hair dresser's attention also pointed out that I was very unhappy with the results and asked her to re do it, which she agreed only after me pointing out one by one her various errors and mistakes etc.
I attended to appointment the following day and she did what ever she needed to do tone down and even out the colour etc. However, once the work was completed and I was checking the work out, I noticed that she had missed out some part of the hair on right side leaving again big gaps between the colour and scalp. I pointed out that to her and she agreed that 'yes I missed those out' While I was talking to her one of her co worker and owner of the salon joined and I pointed out very much the same mistakes again to them, and the co worker kindly offered to go through the hair and correct mistakes.
However, the owner of the salon stopped her carry out the task by saying that 'no we won't book her in anymore as we have spend long enough with this now - she can go some where else now.'
I am very unhappy with the service, quality of the work, the owner's way of responding and dealing with the problem, Due to fact that my hair is in unacceptable state, I need to make a new appointment now somewhere else now and get them to sort out this salon's mistakes as the owner of the salon have refused to deal with me anymore.I have taken a lot of pictures after both appointments and contacted Trading Standard's as well as National federation of Hair dressers! read more
