A very clean and put together establishment that doesn't 'feel' like I'm at my wife's salon. After I left and got home I felt like I wanted a bit more off the top (my fault for not communicating that to the stylist), I called and they were able to have me come back in, adjust the cut and send me back on my way, no charge for the additional service. They really go above and beyond here. Will be back for more!

Some stylists are clearly better than others, and I have a preference, but not everyone works every day. Your phone number brings up notes about your last haircut, which helps provide a bit of consistency between visits. Finally, price is very competitive, especially for seniors. If I have some extra time and feel like a bit of pampering I'll go for the MVP offering (shampoo, hot towel, and percussion massage), but most of the time I'm looking to get in-and-out.

The haircut: Johnathan does a wonderful job at listening and learning about your own hair eccentricities beforehand so as to give you the best haircut experience. I usually get my haircut at one of those "run of the mill" shops, you know those type of places, where you may or may not get the same hair stylist and what you think your haircut should end up looking like is not always what you always get. At The Top Shave Lounge you not only get what you expect, but the end result is one of the best haircuts you'll ever receive!! The Traditional Shave Experience: This was actually my first shave experience at a barbershop and it did not disappoint. The Traditional Shave Experience included a hot towel treatment, aromatherapy, traditional wet shave, cool towel, hydrating toner, and moisturizer. As Johnathan said, you leave feeling like a super star!!! The shop: I loved the overall decor of the Top Shave Lounge. It really felt like an old-timey barbershop, as if your living during the prohibition era. Rustic wood paneling, old photos of barber shops, an antique barber chair and yes a barber pole. The decor along with jazz playing in the background gave a nice calming experience. The Top Shave Lounge also offers a full range of products from Art of Shaving line. Next time your lady says she's going to the spa or a salon(code for "I'm going to spend a pile of money") treat yourself to this speakeasy style of a barber shop, and yes you heard me right, you may just get a sip of whiskey....The Top Shave Lounge is more then just a barbershop, it's an experience!
