Back in KY we had an experienced barber that knew exactly what my son wanted and he took care of him... First off, we had a little trouble finding Johnny P's shop because it's in the strip with other salons but once we found it, all was good! Johnny P's place is by appointment only which we were fortunate he had a spot open after a couple of cuts. It's a little cramped but due to great conversation with Johnny and another customer about football and other topics made an excellent experience! Being African American (I hate that term) being black, it reminded me of my childhood...going to get my fresh fade, WHEN I HAD HAIR. Johnny P kept us entertained by showing us clips of area Tx football since we were new to the area. His shop was clean with seating area inside and outside of the suite. Johnny's prices for cuts seem to be very reasonable about the same I paid back in Ky. E's cut was 15 and we tip an additional 5. I would recommend him to any person looking for a fresh cut!
