Barbers Den - Amazing job as always at Barbers Den!! - Barbers Near Me - Chula Vista, California

I chose this barbershop to support business in Chula Vista, but unfortunately my experience was not good. The haircut was bad. The back of my head was cut uneven and also my line up was crooked. On top of that I was charged a cancellation fee even though I showed up to my appointment on time. When I brought this up to the owner's attention (Daniel) he did not seem concerned at all. He promised I would get a refund, but I never received one. read more

Barbers Den - An example of an uneven haircut - Barbers Near Me - Chula Vista, California

This place is trash, charged $30 for the worst cut I've ever gotten, the guy with the Mohawk's finger smelt like he shoved it in his ass right beforehand, plus they weren't wearing their mask above the nose, if I could give 0 stars I would!! They both look high (probably are) I say go to barbershop heaven up third ave because if your looking for a quality haircut, this place ain't it! read more

Just got my hair cut here for the first time. I've seen it many times coming and going from 3rd Avenue and decided to check it out. It's small but comfortable, good music, good vibes. As a walk-in, I waited maybe 15 minutes, if that. I didn't even ask the cost ahead of time - just trusted my gut and jumped in the chair when homeboy called me up (sorry bro never asked your name!) worth noting this was my first skin fade and the first time I'm growing my beard out so I really didn't know what to expect... Before I get to the results I have to say both barbers really seemed to be taking their time and really placing value on the QUALITY of the cut, rather than the speed like so many other shops. Can't tell you how many barbers have just rushed through the cut, charged too much, and really didn't give a f$¢k. These guys care! I didn't have one but they also serve local craft beers! Anyway... when everything was said and done I am so happy with the cut and was surprised how affordable the price was. I was expecting to pay close to double what he charged me! I'm feeling as good as I look and I'm floating on my way to work! Thanks guys, I will definitely be back! read more

First off, all the barbers are dope and cut really well from what I've seen. They're all skilled craftsmen and very friendly. Randolf is my go-to guy and he always leaves me very satisfied. He's a very personable individual and is extremely passionate about his craft. He genuinely cares and caters to his individual clients' desires. He has these massive yet fancy hands that are quite gentle and precise as he cuts. They also feel amazing when he washes and/or applies product in your hair. I would give 7/5 stars if I could! read more

If I can give this barber shop a zero I would. My husband went here to have a simple haircut and they charged him $25 + tip for a sucky haircut. They missed a lot of hair. His back is uneven that I need to recut it. So if I were you spend your money somewhere else. read more

I was forced to download an app on order to make an appointment and I've had done so I picked Danny just to come the next day and find out it was his day off. I tried booking with him again for another day and again he wasn't there even though my appointment was confirmed read more

Good place to talk and get a good fade or even a shave. Four chairs and usually at least two barbers for was ph ups or appointments. My hair definitely looks better then going to Supercuts or FS! read more

Never met such a caring barber as the owner of this new shop. After he gave my son his first cut, he invited us to join him at his new shop, so we followed him. Never had an issue with him, but we had a bad experience with one of his staff. He was out of town so he couldn't physically do much, but he was very apologetic and even provided me with other shop locations I could go to so that at the very least, my son could get his hair cut. Who does that? He could've lost a customer, but his caring ways made us come back. Danny's very kind and professional and goes out of his way to make sure his customers are satisfied and leave content with their cut and service. Definitely recommend his services! The shop is pretty clean and modern too! read more

Some of the barbers are not even wearing a mask. It doesn't matter that it's outdoors now. They're so close to their customers while cutting. A mask should be worn at all times. Chula Vista doesn't need another outbreak! read more

I found Daniel at a previous shop in San Diego, he's so great with my son (that acts like every cut is the first one) I've followed him to his own shop in Chula Vista. If your looking for someone who's great with kids and is an all around good barber check him out at the Barbers Den. read more

Nice atmosphere. Friendly barbers who are quick and professional. Senior citizen cuts and other discounts. Lots of clients!

Horrible experience , walked in for the first time and Angel helped me out. I asked just for a beard cut trim and to line it up. Let's start with no blade was ever used, all with the machine ... some barber start with it and switch to blade. He was either extremely new or ready to leave because he was all over the place. Didn't even trim it, didn't give me any after shave I HAD TO ASK AFTER I PAID. Skin was left extremely irritated, i even asked for him to clean the chin area since he forgot. Horrible service, it was the worst mistake to have trusted this place. After I said, for future reference do you guys even use a blade for beards ? "And he answers ahh mmm yeah we do that too" Horrible of me to say but maybe I shouldn't have trusted a beard cut and trim to someone who didn't even have one. Sorry Angel but the service was beyond shockingly horrible. read more

As always, I enjoy trying new things, explore local businesses and support them. However, this barbershop disappoints. First, no parking and unfortunately the owner recommended a neighbor business, specifically KFC. Secondly, photos that you see on their website for haircuts they produced are far away from the actual product I had, or maybe just the young gentleman who did my haircut who proudly said while chatting with his boss that he has a high standard. I would be open to go back and try another barber, but is it really $25 worthy? I'm not sure... read more

The owner Danny has been cutting my hair for years and I have followed him throughout his journey as a barber. When I heard he opened his new shop I knew it would be a hit seeing as he has the best cuts around and is such an amazing person. If you are ever in Chula Vista and need to get your hair fresh for the weekend Danny is your man. He is truly a master of his craft and I walk out of his chair feeling like a million bucks every time. Minus the million dollar price tag that is . Set an appointment you will not regret it! read more

Mar, 26 20. At 1530 *PLEASE READ* IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING DEVIATING FROM YOUR NORMAL BARBER AND TRYING THE BARBER'S DEN OUT!!! To start this things out, this will be my second attempt at getting a respectable low fade from this place. The first (with Angel) was terrible but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just a sub par barber. But alas, First impressions speak volumes. This time around I had the misfortune of getting cut by IVAN. My haircut of choice is low fade, dropped down in the back and blended even lower. So the razors should not be working anywhere above the temple. I did my best to make it as dummy proof as possible and showed him a pic of my desired cut, with heavy emphasis special points of interest within the picture. The end result was an absolutely mess, I am almost glad the majority of free society is quarantined due to Corvid 19 to limit the eyes that may see this horrendous cut. We are talking about the end result being somewhere between a high and tight/ bowl cut with uneven fading around the head. Like honestly this haircut has me seriously contemplating calling off of work! This guy should have his barber license revoked asap. During the haircut he made a comment about trying to smoke up later because he has his weed in his car but my Gawd this guy does not have the brain cells to spare. Do yourself a favor a steer clear of the barber's Den. Rant concluded... read more

Been going to this shop for a few months, ever since my Barber, Adrian moved there. The place is small but has a great atmosphere and best of all is kid friendly. I bring my 2 boys all the time. Adrian is a true professional, does quality work every time. read more

Got a medium drop skin fade done by Angel. He was able to take me right after opening. He was fast, friendly, and paid close attention to detail. You can tell he is enthusiastic about his work. This young barber is talented for his age! The shop is also very clean and maintained. Will be back for my next cut. read more

Still hard trying to get Caleb to have a haircut but I think he finally found someone he feels comfortable and last couple of times is been so much easier for me. Thanks you and congrats on your new business. Totally recommend read more

Tried two times now. Both were rushed haircuts Barber more interested in watching TV. Will not return.

Cool little spot but I would say based on my experience it felt like it was quantity over quality. I never experienced such a fast haircut and after seeing the result I knew I shouldn't have tried a new barbershop. Definitely not worth 20 bucks. I wanted to like it. I did make an appointment, I still waited 15 minutes pass my scheduled time and all i got was a dude running back to work because someone dropped the ball. read more

Don't like to leave bad reviews but unfortunately left with my full beard messed up and very cut up from the blade. Haircut was okay but had to just take the beard off when I went home. read more

This barbershop is without a doubt the best one I have been to. As soon as you go in you get greeted and feel welcomed. Very professional atmosphere and very clean. Danny the owner greeted me personally upon my arrival and helped me immediately. I told him that I wanted a different hairstyle that goes more appropriately for my age. Without hesitation Danny showed me several different styles that would be fit for me. While cutting my hair he was very meticulous and professional. The haircuts outcome exceeded my expectations. Thank you Barbers Den! read more
