Everything a barber shop should be. The two guys (Gary & Troy) were welcoming and fun to talk to…read more The cut I got was exactly what I wanted (much better than any I've gotten at places like supercuts). I went at an off-time on a weekday, so I only had to wait around 20m, which was great. Another guy who was hanging around the shop said that many times it can be around an hour wait. It's a fun place to hang out though, and even if it had been an hour wait, I think it would go by quickly, and the cut would be worth it. Seriously, if you've only ever gone to places like scores, supercuts, great clips, etc... you really owe it to yourself to check this place out. It's a totally different, and more gratifying, experience.

You have to wait awhile sometimes but worth it. Great haircut every time. Very friendly also.read more

Happy to write a review for Sevnth Avenue Barbershop. You see them! Five stars! From the moment…read moreyou step in, a regular or not, your greeted. Sevnth is a clean, new establishment located in a tucked away frontage road just off the busy Pacific Ave., across the street from Pacific Bowl. Ed, the owner, has the first chair followed by more than a few other hair professionals that offer their own specialties from braiding, hair dye, beard fades, trims, haircut designs, haircuts, etc.. Appointments are the way to go and Ed KEEPS his appointment times, and really makes his clients feel at home with convo, musica that fits who is in the shop at the time, a libation, and or putting on ESPN, cool movie, or cartoon for the kids. I've been so relaxed, especially when the hot towel goes on for a beard trim that I've almost dozed off. Ed and the other professionals at Sevnth have the skill and patience to service the 209 well. Ed has even given my 75 year old father and Autistic nephew haircuts. If you're looking for a skillful, professional, new barber, check out Sevnth Avenue Barbershop for your next cut.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE While looking for a new barber, I…read morecame across this shop on Yelp. Looked legit, cool spot and decided that I wanted to make an appointment. Weird that they require you to download their app to do so, but I did. They had an appointment available and I took it. Got there and several barbers working. Nowhere on the app did it assign you to a barber and they had no greeter or reception desk to check in. After watching several people walk in sit down immediately in a chair and get a cut, I realized that they don't even monitor this app that they require you to download. If you dont know a barber there, dont waste your time, find a new spot. I give negative stars
