Staff members were openly using profanity and engaging in inappropriate conversations within earshot of patients. It was uncomfortable and honestly disheartening--especially for someone of my mother's age to have to sit and listen to. I've been coming here for over 40 years, and I never expected to see such a decline in professionalism. As someone who works in the medical field, I understand how demanding these environments can be, but maintaining a respectful and appropriate atmosphere should always be a priority. This experience was upsetting, and I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. I will be following up further regarding this concern. I spent 13 hrs. in the ER waiting to be seen by the doctor. I was having chest pains and shortness…read moreof breath. I was evaluated pretty quickly. It included blood pressure, EKG, blood work, urinalysis, etc. This ruled out a life-threatening emergency . I was reevaluated every few hrs or so. At that point, I could have left since a heart attack was ruled out, or I'm sure I would have received immediate care. A triage nurse has extra training in emergency evaluations. I was seen by the doctor after 14 hrs. of waiting and then admitted for two days. This is just my opinion. I think a lot of the people in the ER could have gone to an urgent care or waited to see their doctor the next day. Some people did leave. I guess they decided they weren't that sick. The wait time is ridiculous, but what can the hospital and staff do when people keep coming in. There are also ambulances coming in as well. The staff did their best to make people as comfortable as possible. In my opinion the staff work very hard to take care of the patients. I don't know what the solution is, but I do know it's people much higher up that need to fix the problem . It's sure not the staff.

It is vast, encompassing everything from the emergency area to the main sections and patient rooms. The environment is impressive and spotless! Upon my admission to the room, I found it to surpass any previous hospital experience. Upon my admission to the room, it exceeded any previous hospital experience I've had. The technology here is far superior to that of other hospitals I've visited. They are so advanced compared to other hospitals I've visited. The equipment they use is far more advanced than what I've seen in other hospitals. I hope I don't get sick, but if I do, the hospital is definitely the place to go! My attending doctor, Dr. Kaiser, is truly exceptional. He listened attentively to all my concerns and made me feel comfortable during the visit. I've never felt more at ease discussing my health issues. He is one of the kindest doctors I've encountered. His communication style is very pleasant, which makes interactions with him enjoyable. He provided outstanding care throughout my entire journey, from diagnosis to recovery. Additionally, he ensured that I fully understood all my options before moving forward. His staff even followed up to check on my recovery--what amazing service!ervice! These nurses (Katie, Jaimini, Erika, and Niro) and the PCF staff (Connor, Jay, and Matt) who attended to me are among the reasons I highly recommend this hospital. While there was a long…read morewait time in the ER, I can honestly say that I have never been to ANY ER in ANY hospital where the wait was quick. It always seems to be a very minimum of 2 hrs. I was there late morning on a Sunday; it took about 3 hours to be seen. Once I was put in a room, thing proceeded quickly and I was very well cared for. When they diagnosed my problem, I was admitted and I swear the care was so good that I didn't mind being there at all. I will never go to another hospital unless I am travelling. In my opinion, CDH is the best, with kind and qualified doctors and nurses and the finest care around.

I inquired about her at the front desk. the white girl at the desk in et was rude condescending as I explained the situation and said I didn't understand the process and was trying to. This attitudes by her was awful and quite rude for a hospital staff member She then told she had not been processed nor had she been admitted or registered in yet but to please wait that was at 9:30 PM. !!there was a second person who was black and very kind trying to answer my questions while she continues to interrupt her and act like she knows more then everyone rolling her eyes. but the white girl who would not let me go back and see her told me there can only be certain visitors. The physicians assistant called on my phone told me to get a visitors pink pass and I could back. This nasty girl yea girl if 22-25 brown hair 5'5 told when I said Howe's the last. Who said this, she called you, "we'll hang on" she came back and said nope you can't go back. The nice nurse or cna Becca came out to speak to me. How a hospital could allow anyone to act this way is beyond me. She was condescending and rude making me feel like I was doing something wrong. She than pushed her chair back and ran in the through the doors in what appeared to me to speak to someone about me visiting her .When I came back she told me I could not go back and see her. She was intimidating and acted like she ruled the roost.. disgusting for an RN, CNA or any hospital staff member . whoever. Again Becca comes out explains that they would release her to someone else that did not come in from Tavern on Rush because we were together at there and they were not allowed to release to someone who is with her at there. Wow news to me on this point but ok. Not wanting to make waves nor have I made any I again went to the waiting room and waited. When I asked can I see her please, what's going on?? The same staff member who I will call the little Missy girl told me there were five people who inquired about her and are here. I said what there is only me here there are not 5 people. She then looked at me like I was stupid and said "Yes there are 5 people who have inquired, then the security guard also got snippy like I was stupid or on something. It took about 3 minutes to get set up and the draw was awesome. How can I say a blood draw is awesome, I did not feel the needle going into my vein and no poking around. The nurse that helped get my samples did a great job. I am looking forward to getting here for future testing.

She recently was hospitalized and is working on gaining her strength back in a rehab facility. Dr. Arlinda Elezi decided that she was only going to look at me and speak like my mom cannot speak for herself. She also felt the need to go over everything that my mom has to do over the next few months as far as follow up appointments go like we are both not aware of what she needs to do. When we expressed our frustration with the facility and how they are not providing the care that they advertised when we toured it and stated that they are understaffed and that the doctor on site comes in once a week and will talk to my mom for maybe two minutes. Her response was "I'm reading a report from the fourth, what's the doctors name" looking right at me implying that we are not around enough to know what kind of care my mom is receiving. Which is insulting since between myself and my two other siblings at least two of us have spent hours a day spending time with my mom. And the fact that Dr. Arlinda Elezi wanted to embarrass me by proving that I don't remember a doctors name is incredibly unprofessional.
