    Welding on marble
    Billy S.

Jorge came over to my parents place and looked at a leftover marble slab to make a table out of. His welding designs are modern and gorgeous. The pictures speak for itself. Amazed by his work and outside of welding he will also be back to help my parents with a new fence. Jorge is extremely friendly and his prices are reasonable. He guarantees his work and makes sure you are happy with what was done. Positives- On time On budget Great craftsmanship Mobile Amazing job No doubt we will be seeing Jorge around for future projects Negatives- none!

Excellent Work!!! We needed to repair two gates that were old and rusted. They look practically brand new now!! Jorge was professional, very kind, he explained everything he was going to do, and was always on time! He did a really dedicated work. We will keep calling him!

Was awesome to work with Jorge on this unusual project. I wanted a swing out BBQ mount on the back of my truck. A few others turned it down, but Jorge had no issues seeing my vision and making it happen at a reasonable price. Great work, I highly recommend!

After a traumatizing event, we needed to add as much security to our home as possible. We contacted Jorge and he was out to us the very next day. He explained everything thoroughly, gave us his expertise and got to work quickly. He exceed our expectations! Everything turned out beautifully. Compliments on his work never fails.

It was exactly what we were looking for design wise and a really good deal, but within a year, the particle board legs broke off one at a time and the top had bubbled up from water drops. Knowing that the table wasn't worth saving, but knowing I wanted something just like it, I resumed my search for a better quality table. During a random visit to a friends' house, I had the fortune of seeing one a Pioneer Wood and Steel piece and immediately asked friend where she purchased. She told me about Leer and Greg and gave me PW&S number. I am familiar with custom made works and the handcrafting that goes into creating a beautiful piece of furniture. Leer came to the house to look at the table, take measurements and give us a quote. At the time, he gave us his idea to replicate the table in real wood - and boy were we in for a surprise when we found out how much real wood cost! We literally tabled the idea, it took a while to wrap my head around paying that much for a piece of furniture. In the end, I knew it was the most favored piece of my husbands. So for our 10th anni, I secretly contacted Leer and told hubby the legs gave out and were being repaired. Little did he know that we were replicating the table in real walnut wood. It wasn't until I saw photos in progress that I realized that we hadn't just bought a table, but a functional piece of art. The love these guys put in to this table shows, and we are so happy with the result. So when you are ready for that first, adult furniture piece, be sure to contact Pioneer Wood and Steel, you will not be disappointed with the art that they will deliver!

After having about 11 people come by to provide bids I started looking for company to help rebuild…read morea fence that can do both wood and metal because I wanted a half metal half wood fence. I decided to go with them because their bid was the lowest but looking back there were a lot of red flags from the beginning of the communication process with this company that I should have considered. For example the owner sent me a side message saying if he were to respond to my message it would cost him $70; and just based on what I dealt with they do not seem to be a established business based on communication, the amount of nickeling and diming done and the final product. For the whole fence, I provided him with a picture of what I wanted specifically for the gates and some images circled and let him know I wanted it to be as long and continuous as possible with only metal cut offs where they needed to be and any extra support can go in the back. He also provided me a picture that had a lot of metal around the edges and I didn't not like that and stated it was too much metal and again provided him with my photo. This was the only conversation we had about the gate and when it was constructed it looked like the photo he sent vs what I sent. And instead of acknowledging his error he was rude and combative and his brother had to step it. That was the begging of a whole lot of other issues especially them nickeling and diming me for all of their errors that were a result of terrible communication from him. They charged me a flat fee to build the fence "professionally" and it looks a mess, there is nothing professional about it and also tried to hit me with fees for stuff that was included already in the price to rebuild so that is why I know they are a new business. The slide gate is not sturdy and they had to cut a whole in my other wood to make it functional, that I did not know about. They also installed the sensor wires on the outside which could easily be cut even though I expressed safety concerns throughout the whole process. When they were installing the sensors I was outside because they were 2 hours late and it was getting dark so I had my car headlights on and he never asked me anything about it and when I spoke to him about the placement he said it would delay the project and he needed to do what was best for him. After the wood sat in the sun for like 3 days the slide gate stopped closing because the sensors shifted and sounded an alarm with an error code of 71 every time you tried to close it. The only way to close it was to hold and after contacting him he blamed it on me after not responding for 2 days (see attached convo). I had lift master come out to fix it and it turns out they were a lot of issues like not installing all of the wires correctly etc. one of his friends did the install so I am not sure they were fully authorized to do it. The walk-in gate looks awful it was not measured correctly and it is not fully functional. He also agreed that the gate/fence does not look right which is also my fault according to him because I purchased my own wood (see attached convo). He also told me that it was "hard to install gates" and that he would have had to do extra stuff to make it even which was like what do you mean that's what you were getting paid for! For every complaint I had his response was, it's going to cost you to fix it. They just left me with whatever and now I have to deal with it. Now that the wood has been rained on and has settled the walk-in gate no longer stays closed at all and randomly opens. I provided them with the lock well beforehand and it's not operational. They screwed the key frame into the slots that the other wood is screwed into so the nails do not stay in place and a part of it has cracked off due to the gate slamming when it opens by itself. The metal part that is supposed to latch does not fit so it just does not stay closed. They also did not add support beams to the back of the fence so the fence bubbles out and caves in and is wobbly in certain places, especially places where the metal posts are because there are no screws there. Overall the did an awful job and they left me with a mess that killed my grass and and did not not finish painting. There are sooo many other things that I can highlight but this review is long enough and I can only add 10 pictures! 10/10 do not recommend!
