I decided to make the drive to this shop after seeing something that advertised them as having "California's largest hat wall". I love different styles of hats and that just sounded amazing to me.
I was able to find parking on the street in front of the shop but it was a weekday afternoon and there was only the one spot available so I imagine there are lots of times when you would have to look around for a spot and then walk to the shop.
The shop itself is very charming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Country music was playing and the whole place has a very small town Western vibe. There were rows and rows of cowboy hats, western clothing, boots, turquoise jewelry and accessories.
Personally, I think I was expecting something else in my head before arriving. When I hear hats I think of all different kinds of hats... Sun hats, vintage hats, fedoras, even silly hats and stuff like that. I didn't realize it would be so focused on Western hats which was totally my mistake and they are not really my particular style of hat. I did browse around for a few minutes and there was definitely some cute accessories that probably anybody would love. If this is your style, I would definitely recommend I stop here. read more
