Not only did she fail to call me back, which I found to be rude, but the staff there continued to mess up on the content of my messages, assuming I wanted to schedule an appointment when all a wanted was a mere CALL BACK. In my years of seeing her, both in person and virtually, she was ALWAYS at least 30 minutes late.

This is a strange review to write, but the more I thought about it, I felt like I should write one…read more Two years ago, my dad walked into his doctor's office and told him, point blank, that he'd been thinking about killing himself. It was the first time he'd ever talked to anyone about his problems with depression. After he spent some time in emergency care, he was encouraged to start seeing one of the counselors at CounselorPlace. She has, frankly, been incredible. I've been working with her as part of family therapy sessions, and I've watched the changes in my dad as she's worked to heal wounds that I never realized he was carrying. My parents are Christian, but I really am not. Despite the label of "Christian Counseling" in this entry here on Yelp, they do not push any religious agenda or evangelize during the counseling. The counselor working with my family has focused entirely on helping my Dad recover and our family's health, nothing more, nothing less. I firmly believe that CounselorPlace has helped to save my dad's life. After working with them, every week, for the past two years, I have nothing but good things to say about their skill, compassion, and professionalism. I'm not writing this review for them, though. I'm writing this review for my dad, and people like him, who carried a lot of pain with them but never admitted to anyone (or themselves) that they need serious help. In our time of crisis we spoke with a few other counselors, but after speaking with Judy we knew we found someone who understood OCD, could help translate it to our 9 year old, and would support us as a FAMILY throughout the whole process. I have personally visited other counselors in the past and nobody was ever as RESPONSIVE as this woman. She really saved our daughter's sense of well-being and gave us all hope when we were scared there was none. In regards to the "christian counselor" label, I have to agree with the other reviewer who said they only reference that type of help if you believe or find comfort in that. I really liked the session and am really looking forward to another one down the road. The center is located at 5701 N High Street (Worthington area). It is a large four-story office building that sits back, off High Street. I have driven by this building for years and had never been inside so super excited for it to be here. There is plenty of parking in front and around the building. I had received a gift certificate for Christmas and was excited to try out one of the sessions. I must say this was a very creative gift and was such a treat to experience a healing session. I went to www.clarityandhealing.com for services, scheduling, and contact info. Scheduling was as simple as emailing Jessica Noel (clarityandhealing@gmail.com), setting up a time, and meeting at the office. We had decided upon one of the healing sessions and upon arrival, I waited in the sitting area of the suite for here to prepare the room. I was taken back to the office and there was massage table in my office with relaxing music and some aroma therapy (or maybe it just smelled really good). After a few minutes of talking about myself and the process we were ready to get started. I was lying fully closed on the table, with pillows, heating pad, sheets, and blankets. There were a few different therapies used, including Zeb Therapy. I would absolutely recommend Jessica and really felt good about the session.
