This is a small shop, (especially with all the precautions around COVID, which I am thankful for, and in support of) but it is packed with some amazing candy! The kids loved the Jelly Belly selection, and my wife and I loved the hand made chocolate goodies. The quality of the chocolate and the nuts made the Pecan Turtle I ate, disappear in less than a minute. It's funny, because from the outside, this place looks old, but it's well kept inside and the employees are as nice as could be. There are so many options and variations, you'll be sure to find something that meets your sweet tooth. This is definitely going to be a regular stop for us when we visit the Dells. read more

When I drove by this place I did one of those cop highway U turns and speed back to it like I was chasing a speeder. I'm still not doing well at adding more sweet tooth places in my reviews and what better than a good old fashioned candy company. The place has cow seats in front so how could you not stop. The place make about 80% of the candy I'm told so I looked around to see what I could take with me. There is some samples to taste some of the goodies like the Cow Pie, I have not had a real Cow Pie to my knowledge so I grabbed one with some real peanut butter cups amount other things. This is not outlet prices because the few things that I got was over $14 and more than I imagined for a small bag of candy. We love to stop here. Our last visit was in early June 2020 when we took our 2 kids and 3 of their friends away for a few days. This was our last stop before we headed back home. The girls had on hand drawn cow sandals - and they were quite the hit!! The gentleman got someone from in back to come look, they took a photo of the their feet (made their facebook page, too!) and gave each of the girls a free tshirt, which was incredibly sweet. We enjoyed our goodies and will definitely stop by anytime we are in the area. read more

I live to stop here every single trip! Home of the cow pies. They are tasty but they have NOTHING on the dark chocolate angel food. OMG So, there was a trolley full of bachelorettes. The staff worked so quickly to get them in and out. Once they left we had the entire store to ourself. The ladies at work there are always so kind. They always have samples and cow paw stickers and are willing to put a cold pack in your bag so that you can travel. They have little cow seats out in front so you can take your picture. Everything they make is absolutely delicious. They have a large selection of salt water taffy and regular candy in addition to their chocolates. The angel food is by far my favorite but they have a fabulous selection of sugar free and the sugar-free toffee and sugar-free marshmallows are heavenly. It's probably a good thing we live so far away. read more

BCC is a place I've driven past for years and years but have never pulled over for. After popping in after a stay at the casino hotel across the street and spending almost $20, I realized why I've never let myself go in. When I entered I was promptly greeted by the person working the counter and offered candy samples. There were two basket sizes to choose from for your browsing and buying needs, and candy is separated by dark chocolate closest to the entrance, sugar-based candies in the center and along the back wall, and milk chocolate in the back closest to the factory side. Chocolates were priced fairly and there were a bunch of markdown deals, at least on the day I visited. Many bags featured four to six pieces, which is perfect for trying several different things. I did some gift shopping for my parents and boyfriend, and snagged some tasty treats for myself. I liked everything I've tried so far. Some of the offerings I walked away with: - Orange Meltys - Mint Meltys - Giant peanut butter cups - Peanut Butter Puddle - Mini Pecan Puddles - Peanut brittle The least expensive was $1.50 for a bag, the most expensive was $3.25 I believe. Really not bad considering many chocolate confections run at $2-3 per piece. If you're visiting Wisconsin, BCC has some fun themed chocolates like Cow Pies that you can bring back to friends and family for a corny laugh. The chewy caramel and tasty chocolate will please past the gag. read more

When in the Wisconsin Dells area, you have to come here to get some chocolate or fudge products. The little candy shop, located across from Baraboo's tiny airport and close to the casino (same exit off I-90), is just a little old white building on the outside. Inside, you have tables and tables of freshly made chocolates, turtles, and other nutty goodies. They are famous for their Cowpie, which is like a chocolate turtle but the size of a thick burger patty! It's equal to about 5 or 6 turtles, but can be eaten in 1 meal if you're a real chocolate pig. Speaking of pigging out, while you're there, get some chocolate-covered raisins, which are really thickly layered like Raisinets on steroids, as well as chocolate covered coffee beans. Talk about getting a chocolate fix with your caffeine buzz! read more

I love this place and love sharing it w my kids! When I was here w my kids yesterday, the cashier/employee took time to talk w my son, who has autism. She was so kind and sweet and asked him about his special toy (dinosaur), and just had a simple conversation w him! We also love all the goodies they have and the yummy samples! read more

This was a must stop on my list the weekend we were in town. Basically turtles (cow pies) and toffee, how can you go wrong? Let me tell you how....charge way to mcu for them. I completely understand the cost of making homemade candy, i tried to start my own candy company years ago. But many of these items were packaged in 4s for $3- $4. Just seemed pricey but I bought it anyway. Great idea to have samples. Tasting these little treats caused me to smile and then buy, buy, buy. After $25 worth of completely unnecessary chocolate. Hell you only live once. So stop by, save up if you need to, your taste buds will thank you. Oh, they ship people. No more excuses! read more

This is really probably more of a 3 star place, but I'll give it 4 because for the size, it really does have a great variety of chocolates and candies, and the prices are decent. Beware the sign stating it is a candy factory and outlet...yeah, they make the candies here. However, my brother and I had kind of hoped that when you tout it is a factory, there would be something for my little nieces to get to see along the factory lines. Instead, you get there and can shop the candy outlet, but not really look into the candy making process. It's pretty small, so I understand not wanting to let outside people on the floor, but maybe just stating it is a candy outlet would be a bit more honest (while maybe not as big of a draw). read more

This is a cute little candy shop across the road from Ho Chunk casino. Milk and dark chocolate and taffy. Lots of flavors. Check the prices and look around some of the prices seem high but some are a bargain. They have cute chocolate pieces in the shape of WI, cows and other designs. Tastes great. I was expecting this to be the mega metropolis of candy. It wasn't. It's a dark, odd warehouse with a tiny candy shop in the middle of nowhere. It serves the purpose of providing my tummy with melty mints, but I don't know that I would go out of my way to go here. It's across from the casino. When you win big across the street, you can buy the entire store. I would go again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this candy shop. It would be much cuter if there were windows inside. read more

I am sure the candy is wonderful but I won't know. My sister sent me a candy assortment for my birthday. I live in the Rio Grande Valley, which means hot temps in the summer. The candy was sent Fed Ex and was not left on my doorstep but the candy was all melted into globs. Of course they say they are not responsible for damaged product due to heat or mishandling. Maybe they should rethink they way they ship candy during the summer months! read more
