Just tell them what tastes you like and what you feel like, they'll fix it for you with an explanation which already makes you go water teething ;-) Almost all ingredients are fresh, no chemical syruptaste, fresh fruit is prepared in front of you... From fresh pineapple (which they cut at the very moment) to raspberries, srawberries, cinnamon sticks (instead of powder) etc... The setting is cosy as well. There is a bar (I prefer to sit there and enjoy 'the making of'), and a few high tables but the regular tables and chairs are less cocktailproof to me when combining the perfect setting for a cocktail... As a non smoker however, I'll add a note for the smokers : there is a smoking room so you don't have to freeze your a** off for a smelly stick. The location is great as well, near the 'gedempte zuiderdokken', so you can park for free as well. My mojito was delicious and we were able to find some comfortable seating upstairs. Once it became later, the seating area became too crowded and loud for my taste. If you're with a group and want to go somewhere with a theme and inexpensive cocktails, then Bar 11 can be fun.

He didn't have any in the menu, but suggested his take on a classic: a smoked pumpkin old fashioned. I thought that the smoke was just shenanigans, but in this case it added some peat to the cocktail. I loved it. It was nice to relax a bit with a nice view and a great cocktail in hand. Unfortunately, it became apparent very quickly that BF and I had both been given regular croques. GF is very anti-confrontation and elected to just pull the ham off of hers which also takes off most of the cheese, leaving her with just bread. I felt inclined to receive and pay for what I actually ordered so I brought the mistake to the attention of the waiter. The waiter proceeded to argue with me about what I ordered. Sir, I am a vegetarian and would never order a regular croque monsieur. Everyone at the table agreed that I distinctly said "VEGGIE" croque monsieur. He ultimately brought me back the correct one as we all speculated that it was probably acquainted with the floor or pubic hairs.
