They offer a huge variety of flavors and options. My husband is a fan of the gelato inside the brioche bun. I stuck to 2 flavors on a cone. The consistency of the gelato was creamy and melts in your mouth! Each flavor is true to its name and are very rich and flavorful. I did not get to try the granite but when I return to Sicily I would check it out.

After spending a couple weeks In Sicily I had walked the neighborhood and saw another location a few blocks away--this local coffee shop which I'm reviewing was situated beachfront and had ample seating. There is both inside and outside seating--the outside seating is shaded. There's an array of choices to choose from in their menu. Since we stayed for a couple of a weeks I was able to try the following dishes, granite fragola con panna e brioche, crema caffè, espresso macchiato and Schweppes with limone granite. My favorite of all these listed items was the crema caffè. It was like a caffè frappe that was both bold and sweet in flavor. It is served in a small "shot glass" and that was plenty for a mid-day boost. Friday and Saturday nights seemed to be their busiest night since they hosted karaoke on the weeks that we were here--the seating expanded to across the street (closer to beach) on the broadwalk. The staff is extremely friendly and cater to you--if something isn't right for you they strive to make it right.

Brioche - The brioche here is light and delicious, served warm, and is an amazing accompaniment to granitas. Definitely order one to balance out the granita if it gets too cold. Arancini - The ragu arancini is absolutely amazing. It was actually the better of the three items ordered in my opinion. I came for the desserts, but found myself fully enjoying this item more. The ragu is hearty and the flavors robust. A masticating delight of flavors. If you're not a smoker, definitely try to top for a seat indoors. Sitting outdoors will likely expose you to several patrons and even passersby or individuals sitting on nearby benches to cigarette smoke. Overall, the food and desserts here are amazing. It was humiliating to watch. We waited about 20 minutes and were treated like we didn't matter the entire time. There was zero respect, zero explanation, and absolutely no empathy. It got worse!my sister tried to use the restroom while we were waiting, and it was disgusting. No soap, no toilet paper, and clearly not cleaned. We ended up leaving because the treatment was so offensive. Between the appalling behavior and the filthy facilities, this place does not deserve your time or money.
