Perhaps the only good place for lunch near the train station in Mechelin. No disrespect to the other more humble places but Bar Marie is definately the more comfortable place to be especially if you have a client or colleague along. There is a nice variety of food, some salads, some quiche, other things. The arrangement is a bit odd in that the orders just get put on a service counter and it is up to you to fetch them.
